how to open a bottle without a opener. video pic is of him with his hand on it and you think it's how to do it with your bare hands. comes with plankton's crowbar.
Or just find any edge. Table, counter, door handle, rock, stool, shelf, box, etc. and place the bottle so that the cap rests on the edge. Hit the cap with your palm and voilá.
One of the most infuriating videos ever! 6:17 to open a couple of bottles, and would be much cooler to see it done with the bill but instead he just tosses it away, wtf!
My god, you're going into depth soooooo much on something you explained in like the first minute. And I personally consider a miniature crowbar to be the same as a bottle opener -_-
most patronising video ever..if it took someone 6 minutes to open my beer I would either have lost interest in having it or punched them and opened it myself
You can also use another bottle. Put one bottle on the table, put the other with the side of the cap under the cap of the first bottle. Put your hand around the neck of the first bottle just below the second bottle (under the cap). Now you can use your finger as leverage and remove the cap. - Make sure you put enough pressure on the cap.
Bru you have no idea how helpful this was. All I've been doing since Covid hit is Drink some Blue Ribbons & Heinekens while writing my book. Thanks Homeboy.
This is one of those tricks that never ceases to amaze people. However I've learned not to use something metal to do it. I have broken the tops off countless glass bottles.
I find that I prefer dark beer, just like coffee the darker the better but some of them have been like a meal more than a drink, lol some beer actualy does have unique delicious flavor, I never would have thought...as far as lighjt beer goes so far this is my favorite, but I rarely even drink anyway
man! really appreciate an american posting about beer WITH ONE OF THE BEST LAGERS IN THE WORLD ... thanks !!! ... i live in Leuven ... less than 2 km ... Sint-Maartensdal ... look it up on Google Maps and to right where the canal makes the 90° bend THAT"S WHERE THEY MAKE IT what do you say
SCISSORS!!!!! AHH IT WORKED SO WELL WITH SISORS you could also use a (clean) coin or anything like i once used it with w spoon just took awhile had to get all the right angels to pop it off!! But scissors are one of the most quickest ive ever opened it
It's interesting to see people in the states drink Stela too, here in England it's considered a "loutish drink" it's even nicknamed "wife-beater", tastes pretty good though
German here. You should grip the bottle a little bit higher. So that you can put pressure on the cap by squeezing your tool of choice against the cap with your left hand while putting leverage on the cap with the tool. Makes it way easier. Either that or you grab the top of the cap with your thumb and push the tool with your hand (specifically index finger) upwards by, again, squeezing your hand towards the thumb. I can even open a beer with a simple coin that way. Don't just use your hand as a static place put your tool on, let the other hand work too.
Jeff, are you right handed? If so, try holding the bottle with your right hand and use your left to open it. If I held it with my left I would fill more comfortable doing it your way. (Using your index finger as a pivot point.) I was taught this using a bic lighter, I use my right hand to hold it though. I pivot off my thumb, and put my index finger over the cap so it doesn't fly over. First time ever opening a beer I used the side of a table. I enjoy the videos man! Keep em coming.
i had stella when i was in brazil. absolutely hated it. they only have one type of beer there(pilsner), depending on where you are. whatever floats your boat i guess. you should try UFO white. it's really good

iv never heard anyone over explain such a simple task so much...
Would have been more impressive with the bill and if it were 1-2 mins instead of 3x that long.
Agreed, Hans!

@cutlerylover
30 minutes later, the bottle is opened
And warm!

This video would have been good if you opened it with the bill.
this video is pretty good, but this guy also did a seventeen-minute video on breathing that is just amazing.
Does it work also with the new Harriet Tubman $20?
Less talking more bottle opening. No good reason why this video took 6 minutes!

Thank you so much! cheers!
ALSO jeff, where did you get that little pry bar? or do you have a review on it?
Thanks this really helped I’m on a 10 hour trip to Texas and my mom bought me a jarritos soda
Regarding 1:58, bottle caps are made of stamped sheet steel instead of aluminum. The test is that a magnet will pick up steel but not aluminum.
I have seen a few last week I liked, tried a chocolate beer down at a german bar/deli in Florida called dunderbacks which was awesome!
Thank you!!! I was struggling!!! Merry Christmas!
While getting my keys to do this, I noticed a bottle opener on my key chain... Thank you! 😆

In the amount of time it took him to do the intro, I figured it using my keys
A slide-locked Makarov pistol is a perfect bottle opener too. Those wonderfuly Russkies and their versatile guns.
