Watch me slowly lose my mind as I rank the worst Rank 2 Tanks in War Thunder from Best to Worst. After trying them all I list them in order. Let me know what you think and hope you enjoy watching me suffer.

Lee is honestly more of a candidate for the best tank on rank 2. It scores rather well on all 3 main aspects: firepower, mobility, survivability. It combines a decent 37mm gun in a okay-armored turret with a stug-like gun in the hull, with a decent mobility, some armor and a lot of crew members. Hard to kill, easy to move around. And has one of the best 75mm shells in the game.

The M3 Lee is my favorite tank and I use it a lot
Man I know, the American tree has some extremely good Jack of all trades tanks
I've had alot of success with it. The 37 is that average gun that you can rely on and the 75 may be the weak point but it is the clutch gun that you can rely on
But the B1 is incredibly well armored for it's BR. I think it's great. If you just take the pen, B1 Ter is worse but even at 3.3 me and my girlfriend can keep up with it

@@jimbo3671not that turret ring. I have a preset for 2.3 france I run to try for downtiers, and when its a downtier- they feel like actual heavy tanks. constant uptiers to 3.3 means that armor isnt as useful due to stugs, m4a1's, and pz IV's. not to mention any td
@@PsychTheCraze Well, for my case, we got almost downtiered 90% the matches. Ok, and now we are getting 4.7 uptiers but even there my girlfriend can play the B1 as living Bunker. It works better than her Sherman at least
On the context of the Lee/Grant, it's actually surprisingly incredible when you just ditch the 37 and just switch your controls to the 75. Because, and I'm serious, the reload on that 75 is ~5s and it hits really hard for 2.7. Genuinely worth a try if you want it to be more consistent.
The Archer is amazing, if you notice enemy just do combat drift
I got 7 kills in a row with it! It’s a very situational tank if your not paying attention it’s not gonna be good

yeah, and on top ya got a 37 to take out lightly armored targets and take out guns or tracks, alongside a good amount of machine guns
the m3 lee is actually really god damn good my average kill count with it is like 6 or 7

Muffin you sound like you’re really having fun playing the game, it really brings my mood up hearing you have a blast playing War Thunder, it’s creators like you that keep me from going insane from playing it
I feel like muffins biggest problem is he expects every tank to work the way he wants it to. Most tanks aren't the charge in and hope for the best type of tank. Take the m3 lee for example. It's more of a tank you want to sit on the sidelines or behind someone else and shoot with. It's not a tank built for Frontline combat it's more of a tank destroyer than a medium tank anyway.
Once again I mock this "opinion" up as just what it is, the inability to actually learn how to use certain tanks the way they are meant to be used. A.K.A skill issue

agreed i never apart from the b1 (where the only thing he did wrong was run in solo) all if not most of the tanks are not frontline compatible, i mean WHO BRINGS A ROCKET ARTILLERY TRUCK INTO A CITY FOR A FIREFIGHT WITH TANKS???
@@adimaiuniversal4361 the only thing alot of those aa trucks and rocket trucks are good for is either using it for aa purposes or going to cao points and anyone who does the second option is just asking to get abliterated anyway.
When you use the panzerwerfer, always try to hit turret faces to overpressure hull roofs! Back in the day it used to print sl with the romanian duck prem.

some of these should be candidates for the best vehicles of rank 2, the B1, the M3, and the Archer are all amazing vehicles once you know how to play them, the archer for example is better to camp out popular routes, the B1 to tank shells when positioned correctly, and the M3 is pretty universal if played carefully
I got purpose made sights for all vehicles with multiple turrets, it helps SO much to have two range indicators for each cannon. It's not so bad on the M3 Lee since the 75mm has pretty okay ballistics, but the 75mm on the B1 Bis and Ter have so much lower ballistics that you will struggle at longer range. Helps a lot on the maus as well.

I think theres an great diffrence between how good a tank is and how usefull it is.
watching that B1 gameplay is just torture, you play around the hull gun than the turret. your frontal armor is one of the strongest in the BR

Hey muffin! I got an idea for a video, it’s TH-camr bias. If you can get ahold of other wt TH-camrs, Have a match that puts the TH-camrs at a disadvantage, it would be really cool to see how it goes! Keep up with the great content !
i like the M3 lee it is doing very well in War Thunder (for me) its armor is good (many tanks have problems to penetrate it frontaly, its better and more trollish than the T-34 Armor) and 2 cannons can make fun like on the B2s, SMK, T-35 and Ro-Go. what is realy bad is the M10, i love this econic tank but its so bad open top terrible torret rotation and agility... i realy dont like to play it.
While I agree with you on the Lee and the wolverine (m 10) you must remember the m 10 isn't a frontline tank its a tank destroyer therefore its more of that good tank to sit on a corner and wait to blast someone away tank.
@@southernwolfgaming yeah i find wayy to mayn m10s on the frontline thinking they have good armor, only for us german and japanese mains to remind them that that their armor is shit and one of our worst tanks (Ho-I), heck even a regular Chi-ha can kill them with one shot
@@adimaiuniversal4361 while yes you can kill an m 10 with a good HE or HEAT shell if angled just right the m 10 does bounce most other shells. It's more of that take you bring out if Japan and Germany are both on your team and if not you sit back or do like me and use the land to your advantage.

@@adimaiuniversal4361 I noticed it when I was playing my French m 10 a while back. If you angle the hull like you would a Sherman not many shells can pen you unless they go for your turret.
Rocket artys are not good ... but can make great fun xD... love them. i would play them more often when they would be tier 3 so i can play them for Events.... i wish one day tier 2 minimum for event will come. PS katusha can lower the chassis front and back so you can aim neerly straight and over distance you dont need because the Rockets have a good drop.
I play the BM 13N at 5.7 and somehow have a 60% K/D in it 😂
I really liked the Lee before I learned Warthunder. But now I prefer the mobility of the Stuart.
The B1 ter really doesn't deserves 2.7, should have stayed at 2.3 i'm not saying this because i'm a french main, sure, a lot of armor, but you can't kill anything. I'll give examples:
Matilda? You're dead Valentine? You're dead. Sherman 105? You're dead. T-126? You're dead. Any italian M43? You're dead. Even the M3 lee is a better tank! Not talking about the shermans and Cromwells you face. Oh all this tanks and more, you can't do absolutely anything to them frontaly, or you can pen (T-126 and Valentine) them in very specific microscopic weak spots.
Oh yeah, the panzer III? The ones with 70mm all over the front? Buy the B1 ter, and have """fun""" fighting them, then tell me your experience.
Meanwhile, they 1 tap your turret. :D

Oh and i'm not even gonna start on the 2C sitting at 2.3, or i'm gonna lose my mind lmfao *help*
The Lee is the bane of my exsistence at this br. The troll-y armor alone is enough to make me cry, i'd put m10 instead personally. 1 HE round and dead, along with the really rough traverse speed of the turret.
Now the next question is whats it's limit for the peirce on higher tier.
The armor of the Renault Char B1 bis is not bad if you don't get hit from the driver's window.
The french b1 bis is good if you angle It But if you dont undestand It its basicly the same as a kv1 its nearly unkillable if you angle It enough but if you dont you die
And the turret is nearly Unpenetrable because of the armor over lap
Even tho its kinda heavy its desently agile and i know that It has a bad gun but It still is good even with it
It really depends what's shooting at you, there's plenty of rank I vehicles that can pen the turret.
But its more unlikely to penetrate the turret than the front of the tank except if you angle

The lee is incredibly good if used correctly its amour is great for the br and has two guns i personally would take the 75 on the lee over the 105 on the sherman and when in a full downteir it really slaps

Idk I've had amazing luck in the Lee, typically a lot of people don't know what cannon to focus or where to actually shoot in general. Solid shot is basically useless against you, at least for a few shots.

I recently had to fight a T 50 with my 1.7 lineup in Sweden, he had 14 kils at the end of the round
Haha Sweden gets APDS rounds on their reserve tanks that can lolpen the poor T-50 from a km away in addition to all their 1.7 tanks destroyers which all perform really well.
I would say that m3 lee is good because of the survivablity It has the crew so spred out

The Lee is not only one of the best tier 2 tank but also one of the most fun, you should bind a key to only use the big gun, the other gun is very distracting and useless, the big gun obliterates

The M3 lee gets a bad rep... I know it's your opinion but it's amazing. Usually best to main the 75mm first and if you need to, quick swap to the 37 if you overpenned a light target

I honestly agree only with the M3, as the spoonsoon design of the big gun makes it kinda hard to aim. As for the rest- the soviet rocket truck is quite good for Long range engagements, thats why the rockets are pointed up, the German rocket truck is straight up a good vehicle which the gameplay further proves, B1 has great armor and if you actually know how to use them good guns (aka skill issue my guy), and as much as i hate the archer its good at what its meant to do- positional play aka dont need turret if dont move.
6:12: simple answer really you overpressured him by hitting above a flat surface on a top part of the tank (ex: above the driver's, top of the turret) those parts normally only have like 10-20mm of armor which is why 105 shermans are so deadly against panzers, since the panzer's driver's measly 10mm top armor sticks out front of the turret, a well placed shot can easily overpressure the entire crew and kill the panzer, for T34s however yeah a sherman has better luck using HEAT on that thing than anything else XD

I dont like the M3 Lee due to not wanting to swap between 2 guns constantly but i wont pretend that its not a good tank having 2 decent guns (better having just a 45mm russian or 50mm german gun in my opinion)
Rank 2 American is fun.. I disagree the m3 lee is pretty good .. all American rank 2 tanks are good especially premium m4a5 ram 2

Idea for a PROS x NOOBS video: All reserve and 1.0 vehicles, ground battle;
Pros can only use Italy, France and Japan (can not use aircraft)
Noobs can use every other nation
The katyusha isn’t good but it is fun when you score a kill by being arty

I won't stand for this vile M3 Lee slander. It's an amazing tank, it just requires you to play around its unique design.
Sorry Muffin, but literally all you had to do with any of these tanks to kill T-50s is just aim at their turrets and you ignored the forward facing guns on both tanks that had them too much, the B1s 75 will one shot just about anything it pens if you used it more often when you were trying to hold that entire flank and angled more you would have won the B1s armour is very hard to pen in down-teirs.

The M3 lee is very good, you are just very bad at pkaying it, i have gotten 13 kills in an M3 once in a 3.3 game, plus havinv 2 guns, a quick 37mm with 80mm pen and a 75 with 100mm pen

thats one of the better low teir tanks. skill issue with the t-50 the 75mm can easily deal with it if you bothered to hit with the 75mm. same with the side on b1
