- This is my full unbiased review for this overhyped model kit DABAN 8828, not planning getting this since I am quite happy with my DM version, this was ordered by accident from China. It was shipped before I could cancel. hope you enjoy my brief review.

i like that hand shield and the gnarly wings (not the effect part), but i cant imagine getting the kit for just that unless its REALLY cheap. wish GMC would restock more.. like once a week i like seeing new kits. and my godhand just broke! didnt really think that was possible.
Sorry to hear what happened to ur Godhand, the parts (I forgot to mention on the review) is undergated, I agree with you, cool as the wing maybe but its crap.
you can paint the V fin, Gray ....Tada you have Detiny Spec 2
Is this fully undergated? Or do you still have to clean the nubs right off?

Dm are goods mobile suit and their design are more far from the original design thought it is still a copy of the orig but still the designs is still far superior than the daban and B😊
how did you connect the neck part to the body? mine is too loose i dont know of i need to push it harder to fix it.
I see, you have the same issue, I did have to glue that part of the neck since it keeps falling off after the review. It was ok at first but afterwards it became annoying so I have to trim a bit of the plastic and glue that part.
i trim the white part and it went inside perfectly. i dont know if it ment to be that way lol

Did you encounter any fitting issues while building it?
I did, but it was minimal based on the quickbuild video.
I built the Dragon Momoko and it broke in the torso inner frame. So I ended up having to glue it so it's basically a statue the wings of light are a flimsy sheet of clear plastic. All around the Dragon Momoko version was an absolute headache to build. Loose to ridiculously tight joints, horrible plastic quality and just all around bad. So I've got this kit in my back log to replace the other. We'll see if it's a better experience or not.
I hope they'll also make the Akasuki next. Maybe in a brighter shade of gold
That would be great. I would love to see them try.
I currently have the DM Akatsuki equipped with the Shiranui pack cause Dragoons are cool, but I don't like the gold used for the kit.
Would prefer a gold yellow but not very glossy.
@sentinel1354 yup I have seen the photo on the box and I regret not buying because the gold paint turned me off.
I noticed too the knife looking on wing binders of daban model which makes the destiny wings detailed on DM

DM stands for Dragon Momoko, its a brand name like Daban, but DM does not produce anymore since Bandai had to sued the owner.

yes indeed coz it's tight. I would recommend filing or sanding the peg and ball joint a bit.
Daban's pricing with their new releases are getting higher & higher which cannot even justify the quality, unlike the late dragon momoko's kits. Comparing the two bootleg companies' pricing & quality, no doubt Dragon Momoko is far affordable & superior.
I almost sell my DM destiny & replace it with 8827. I would be dealing the worst regrets by now.
You are right, the new releases of Daban are getting ridiculous, one thing I"ve notice though that they added paint details making them pricey than their standard release.

As stated on the review yup, actually off white sya na malapit na sa grey.
Kinda Sad Cuz The Backpack Is Far Different And Not Detailed As Bandai Or Dragon Momoko, And That Wing Of Light Just Too Big, And I Prefer The OG Wing Of Light Since It More Similar To Bandai Or Dragon Momoko Wing Of Light(Which Is Sold Separately).
But Still Glad That The Color Of This Kit Is Almost All Pre Painted, Especially On Metallic Part, It Makes The Kit Look Much Cooler Than Dragon Momoko.
Is Not That Expensive According To The Accessories, Cuz It's Already Include With Wings Of Light And Other Custom Weapon From Daban,
So Yes I'm Gonna Get This Kit, Already PO, And Waiting To Arrive
Good for you, definitely a worthy addition to your Seed collection, as mentioned this review is subjective to those who got or don't have the kit.

It is subjective, If you have DM version its a pass. But if you are looking for a copy this ones ok.
I have the dragon momoko one when it was released. It costs less than half of the daban. While it's nice that the daban has new included parts, I don't think it justifies the price that it regularly sells for
Thats is true, but the is the kit is prepainted right off the runner (almost all of them) making the production cost more higher than a normal release that they do.
Also daban is taller than DM destiny to the top of the head by at least a cm
@@gunmetaljoe_builds prepainting isn't necessarily a good thing. Not only will the nubmarks be more visible, it is also a pain to remove when you're going to pain your kits. Again, despite all the extras and things that makes it different from DM Destiny, DM still wins in terms of value and I still don't think the price is justified.
Ooh I forgot to mention that nub marks are almost non existent since 90 - 95% of the kit is undergated. So that is not really An issue.

Wing effect is very ugly IMO
The wings have 2 version in the manual is the free wings effect
