Love this flower and tutorial. Resemblance to 3 dimensional squares of granny blanket I was asked to repair is striking. It was done by my friends mother years ago and one of the squares came loose. (She needs to use gentler washing techniques) Luckily I will be able to sew square back together using near matching yarn. To understand the pattern I recreated it, using the same technique as you, flipping flow front to back each flower row and using chains to attach petals to. Petals are 1 SC, 1 HDC, 2 DC, 1 HDC, 1 SC, SS to secure petal. Very symmetrical. 4 petals. Center petal stands up. Flowers can be done in 1,2,or 3 colors. A great scrap buster using my stash to make sample now and looks like it was done the same way back then.leaves and common background color are all traditional granny squares. Made 4 sample squares it was so much fun and plan to join them in a small pillow I will keep after returning repaired blanket. It is a fun small take along project.( I have other WIP'S i am supposed to be doing)😅. Sorry for the lengthy comment and wish I knew how to send you a picture. I just may have to make one off these squares as a project sampler😅

In your pattern, colour F, you skip 2 in the middle but the video id skip 1.
