Loved the Fina longtail and the Tag heur red and white chasing each other around the circuit and not holding too much back and actually just having fun.
Don't worry, they are in their natural habitat. Much rather see them frolicking around a track than rotting away in a garage as an ego booster...all the same I would be the one in 2nd gear with my hazards on death gripping the steering wheel
Its ok because the cars are worth so much there is actually incentive to rebuild them if they crash. An example of this would be the ferrari 250gto that crashed while racing a few years ago and was rebuilt.
I remember seeing 2 F1 GTR's in around1997-99 I was in a backstreet near Hyde Park Corner/Mayfair and saw 2 in a long open garage with man talking to someone else (1behind the other) being a young car nut asked if I could step into garage and admire which he let me and just wish I had camera or better phone than at time. Still great memories and a nice custodian letting me look❤❤
I love the red and yellow one that says GTR on an angle. I have an old Hot Wheels that matches it exactly. Edit: And the prototype F1 GTR Longtail is clean too.
0:15 well.. im really looking at 70 million dollar racing each other. edit: 2:10 oh ok.. only around 200 million dollar standing there ^^ But who on earth is the ONE person who disliked this video? Some people are so strange
Ok heres a wild thought for people. That is nearly £200 million in cars just there. Insane numbers. 9 F1's at around £16-£22 million each depending on heritage etc.
These drivers really should have gone out there and had as much fun as they could without risking crashing the cars because its going to be an ever rarer occasion that they would get to do so in these cars due to their value and insurance issues. The Fina longtail in white and number 30 car understood that assignment.
That would be like calling a Lotus a Toyota so no, wouldn't want to associate a prestigious brand like Lotus with the embarrassment which is Toyota. The GTR did however race as Team BMW. So for racing purposes it was a Team FINA McLaren - BMW GTR, and that was only until BMW won it outright with the BMW V12 LMR
🤣🤣🤣 Yellow Harrods car just out for a casual and gentle sunday drive around the circuit in a world of his own when set upon by the Fina longtail and his chum chasing each other around the circuit..🤣
@@claudiomarangone614 it's distintive, iconic sound in my opinion. Loved the sound of the 1995 version that won Le Mans Thank the late Paul Rochce for the BMW engine.
Who else grew up watching the Fina car race against CLK GTRs?
Yes sir, most certainly! As a teenager, such a wonderful racing era it was.
I always liked the Marlboro livered McLaren F1's race in Chyna.
I was already grown up by then.
I remember many of these from the BPR Global Endurance series, saw them in the rain at Silverstone that year.
So happy that these owners are willing to share their cars and get them out on the track and give them a little exercise.
This is fantastic! Watching the Fina long tail GTR battle the ueno red and white GTR was awesome!
Loved the Fina longtail and the Tag heur red and white chasing each other around the circuit and not holding too much back and actually just having fun.
this made me smile after i went through so much heartbreak recently
Bless you 🙏
Now imagine owning one. You’ll never have a heartbreak again
Props to the 2 battling it out!
I've been in live with these cars since back in the day.
They can never be topped imo.
Very nice to see so much racing f1 gtrs on the racing track😊
Absolutely stunning footage of one of the greatest cars ever built!
No pressure!” Only a priceless car if your crash it
People who can afford an F1 don't need to worry about possible repair costs😂
Give it the full monty
@@carguy_rznose si es ese el problema si no el tiempo que va estar parado el auto de ahi a que lo arregle McLaren meses o años...

I have seen the Harrods car on the roads around Tunbridge Wells many times.

I enjoy them all, but the red one with yellow gtr has allways been my favourite 😍
Still one of the most Beautiful car ever made by McLaren.
So incredibly beautiful. 🥰🥰
Still one of the most beautiful cars ever made and certainly the most beautiful ever made by mclaren*
14 minutes of eargasm
14 minutes of no EV wokeism. 💖💖
My Dream McLaren😍😮💨
This is when they are at their finest, not in a garage or at auction
Simply epic

is the prototype the black one with the swirls of colour?
@@XenonArcher Yep! I think it’s only 1 of 2. There’s a video about it on the Tom Hartley Jnr channel.
If I were there I would feel sick, what a sound, what beautiful machines
just amazing
The best way for enjoy a car sound, is really amazing this car
Fantastiche!
I've been awed by McLaren's since the days of the late Bruce McLaren and Denny Hulme racing around Watkins Glen. Epic times.
Pero necesitan ganar algo importante como equipo mclaren. Hace decadas no ganan nada en ninguna competencia importante

If they sold an album with at least one McLaren F1 going flat out, I'd buy it in a heartbeat 🎉🔥😍

So awesome to see those DDE liveries on the grid..../s
😂😂😂
What’s the white long tail one? It looks lower and cooler than the rest
You can see the DDE liverys inspiration..
There’s a few shades of DDE in there!
That Fina long tail seemed faster then the rest ,did it have more HP ?
More downforce

If the Engine is the Heart of the Car, then McLaren F1 is BMW

This nice racing car is also an engine... (V12 BMW)...🔊💎🤩‼️💯🔥🛢️🏁🏎️🤓🇨🇵
I prefer the F1 over T.50 in sound and looks.
DDE!!!! 720 GTR LARK LIVERY

wow some people have really bad speakers/headphones/hearing
Sad to see them barely pushing the cars - i know theyre priceless
You can always buy one yourself and drive it.
Shouldve added the bmw x5 lemans 😅
What's that...? $250,000,000...? 300 ? 😵 Highest value track-day EVER ?
Well, they don't sound great TBH, but I bet they're nice to drive.
i mean youre listening, presumably, through headphones. i have no doubt that in person, these things sound fantastic
Actually, they don’t they just sound like a big buzzing bee in real life
