    *Great **Generater.Systems** . Our 1st 2500W Champion backed us up with hurricane Ida last August when our whole home generator crapped out after 8 days. Love the dual fuel. Hope to never run gasoline in it.Bought this 2500W to parallel with our other one for the RV.*

    Might be buying one, primarily for my utility box trailer-work station / welder. But some slight things I will do should I buy it is to go to a scrap yard and purchase a muffler system from a vehicle and adapt to fit. Essentially to kill the noise without the restriction. A car puts out more exhaust than this generator will

    Thanks! I didn't know about that fuel line switch. I was wondering what the heck was wrong.

    Do you know how much fuel you had to have in it for it to start?

      I have a Lincoln invertec 275 amp machine that I plugged in to the 50amp. On this machine. Runs it great. I’ve only had it up to 200amps but there’s not much I’ll ever do above that.

    I’m by no means an expert. But I really appreciate you forgetting to put fuel in it. Something I would do!

      Thats strange, my brand new generator won't start. Here let me take a look at it. It aint got no gas in it! Proceeds to grab a 1-gallon gas can to put gas in it. I then say, you gonna need a bigger gas can I think. HEHE

      ⚠️Generator safety tips:
      All generator safety rules need to be followed carefully whenever you use your portable generator. This is a reminder.
      1) KEEPING OTHERS SAFE: Please do not allow an unqualified person or your children to operate and service the portable generator. Just because some manuals don’t say that doesn’t mean it’s safe. That is important against the generator safety rules. We also need to be keeping an eye on our children too. You need to make sure that your children are not playing near the portable generator especially when it’s running so they won’t get electrocuted. Generators pose electrical risks and they can be hot during an operation. Please keep your children away from the portable generator at all times. It is important to keep our children safe especially our little ones. Be aware of all the hazards.
      2) WHERE TO RUN YOUR GENERATOR: Some people use their portable generators indoors which increases the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. It’s important to have a carbon monoxide if you have a gas generator. Never ever use your generator indoors even if your doors and windows are open and even in the garage is not safe to use a portable generator. Not even at your porch and your deck. It is never safe to use your generator indoors and in enclosed areas of your home. Your generator needs to be 15-20 feet away from your house.
      3)🔥FIRE HAZARDS: Never refuel your generator while it’s running. You need to let your generator cool off before refueling it and before storing your generator. Never overload your generator too. Never ever back feed your generator. You should never plug your generator into a wall outlet. Also never store propane tanks indoors. Please keep flammable things away from the generator as well and please don’t smoke cigarettes near the generator. Having a fire extinguisher next to the generator is also important against the generator safety rules.
      4) GENERATOR OPERATION: make sure your hands are dry before touching the generator. Never use your generator in wet conditions. Don’t let your generator get wet. You need a generator tent if you need to use your generator during wet weather. Please don’t wear loose clothes when operating the generator. Turn on your generator before plugging in appliances. Use the right cord for your generator. Please do not use worn out cords.

      Hope this helps

    Would kindly be able to advise me if I can use a 250v 10 Gauge generator chord?

    • @stellarproductions8888
      @stellarproductions8888 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on your amp draw requirements. Generally, if your only powering half of your home, you would use an L-14 30 twist lock, as 10-gauge is rated up to 30-amps continuous, and 35-amps peak. However, if your buying a 9500 - 12,000-watt generator to power your entire home, you would use a 6-gauge L-14 50-AMP twist lock, rated for 50-AMPS continuous, and 60-AMPS peak.

    If I got the right receptacle could I plug my welder into that 50 amp?

      You do need the adapter. You can find them on amazon or eBay.

    heard some talk of the battery for the electric start not holding charge, like 24 hours going to start it up completely dead and went throuigh several battery replacements, have you had any issues like that now that you have had it for quite sometime?

    • @ub4it
      @ub4it  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This has not been my experience, I just had it out for a just in case scenario and also tested and it fired up right away with no issues, so I am not having or experiencing this issue at all. I would recommend the generator, it has been an excellent experience thus far!

      It comes with a battery trickle charger to use while it’s running. I attached a small solar 25w solar panel for the Florida sun.

      I believe the dead battery is ‘caused by’ people forgetting to turn off the power switch. Jmho

    The circuit breaker should NEVER be ON when starting or shutting it down.

      unrepeatable raddish not what I meant dumbass. He was yanking in the cord without any oil in the cylinder, destroying the cast iron cylinder sleeve. Probably lost about 10 psi compression.
