you have no idea how long i've been waiting
Maybe a year 😂
Mate I find this is really inspirational. A lot of us went through the works during COVID, however not many can say they created their own work out of it. Just testament to your good attitude, hardworking nature and ability to persevere - sometimes we need to be pushed out of our comfort zone in order to grow and learn and that's exactly what you've done. Great to have you back!
Thanks heaps mate! Really appreciate this, I think it’s what we all need every once in a while
Hi, it's so good, to see you again. Salaams, from the UK & East Africa. We did learn a lot of DIY jobs, from your videos. I always remembered your educational videos. Congratulations, for coming back thru all the difficult times. The last 3 years, did not do anyone, any good. We thank God, you are back.Kind Regards, Colin.
Awesome job good to see you back
I love these types of build videos. Least I can learn something and have a go..
That’s what I aim for! Cheers bro
Good to have you back, great to see you've come back even after a tough year. Going solo as a fabricator and still pumping out the troopy. Can't wait to see what you'll do next
Thanks brother appreciate it!
Yewww good to have you back!
Cheers Ben!
The custom metal and welding work really shows. I would like to say you improved, but there was not much to improve.😁
But, the work really does show attention to detail as well as craftsmanship .
Man, this troopy is gonna flex for days.
Hahahah I hope so, thanks mate!
Good to see you again, and even better to see that sweet coiled Troopy comin' along!
Totally understand mate, job loss has happened to all of us at one time or another. It's a credit to you that you've been able to keep moving along & keep all family stuff ticking along. Watching you is a pleasure for our fam! ✌️💪🙏
Thanks mate really appreciate that! ❤️
Yo! Only just noticed these new vids. Welcome back buddy. Great to see you are alive and well and still kicking out projects after the covid stuff kicked our asses.
Anyway on to the troopy, less goo!
Lesgooooo! Thanks bro
Very well engineered 4 link. Does the job just as it should. Your project is going to be very interesting to follow. Thanks for the video.
The best in the business mate!
So stoked to see you back - sheds looking great.

Great to have you back, your vids are top notch. btw I would totally watch any of your projects, caravan, troopy, 75series, or whatever else you’ve got going on.
Where the hell have you been? I thought that you fell off the end of the world - nice to have you back
So good to see you back online. Was talking about you to a mate just recently, saying "where has he been?". Thanks for the content. Cheers
Hahah thanks mate! Appreciate it
YES. Very Inspirational. I'm Just in awe of your courage and perseverance, skill, and focus. Thankyou for sharing this journey of yours. Very Grateful to be able to learn so many things. I've only just stumbled onto Shed Built this episode. Thankyou.
Thanks mate!
That caravan is pretty sweet, should make a vid on it when it is finished 👌🏽
I’ll keep you updated bro!
I didn't think I'd see the channel active again. Stoked as I have been using your builds for some inspiration on my own HJ75. Keen for more to come
Thanks bro! I ain’t going nowhere 😂
yessssss yessssssss so glad to see you back man. And thats mean as man awesome to see the upgrades, knowledge is a wonderful thing too. i started my own business aswell just recently and it is quite stressful lmao but awesome to see progress excited for the next one.
I remember loading you up with that work bench at Bunnings! Good to have your videos back! Love them!
Hahahaha man that was a long time ago! Cheers bro
Glad you’re back, perfect amount of education and entertainment
Cheers Tim! That’s what I aim for
I've been hanging out for this update for so long.. and definitely did not disappoint. Nearing the same progress with my 77 doing same conversion but y60 front/80 rear that was inspired by your videos. And my sore back from leaf life 😅. Can't wait for the next updates
Yewwwww! Glad to help out another tired leaf owner 😂😂
I'm having a Troopy built - same model as yours but we just took the body and fitted it to the Patrol chassis. Will be fitting an OM606 engine and a poptop
Um we need to see this asap on TH-cam!
@that_coiled_zook_ute I've got the footage - just need to get into this youtube thing.
How’d you go about the different wheel base? I originally planned on doing this but struggled to find an engineer who would approve doing a chassis extension in the middle
@ShedBuilt the chassis that I used was slightly longer than my troopy. We left it the standard length, which moved the front wheels forward slightly
Great to see you back on here. Hopefully you changing paths with your line of work means you can post some cool content from your customers.
I’m back fifo now ☺️ thanks mate!
Hope business is going well, glad to see the videos coming back keen for more!
Wellcome back 👏👏 Great to see your video 😉😉
Yes lad stoked to see you back stronger than ever 👌
Thanks brother!
he’s back!
Fingers crossed for good 😂
Just so glad to see you back. Love your videos.
Hope the next one won’t be such a long wait.
Good to know you’re doing well.
Good luck mate. 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks mate appreciate it!
Mate!! So good to see your back, i watched all of your old videos and it inspired me to get a troopy. I bought one in November and have already done so much to it, a lot of which was inspired by you! Now i’m cutting out some rust and welding in a few panels in the backyard. It’ll never be like yours but soo cool to see you back. Videography and editing was amazing. I’m sure that would take forever.
Cheers for making my dream! Already spent 6 weeks travelling in mine and i love it
Mate this comment makes it all worth it! Stoked for you bro 🤙🤙🤙
Welcome back. Great work. Some welding master craft there. 👍👍
Thanks mate!
So good to see you back mate, great episode too.
When are the shed built hoody merch coming out!!
Stay tuned mate!
the king has returned so unbelievably sick man
Thanks bro!
He’ll yeah. Been waiting a while
I wanted a disc/coil rear on my dual cab rodeo. Extended my jackaroo chassis by 300mm. Plated the joins internally. Can't even tell its been extended.WIP.
About fkn time mate!! 😂
😂😂😂
It's been years, finally
you do nice work, from nz
Was only wondering the otherday where you went good to see your back keep up the good work can’t wait for the next episode
Thanks mate!
So good to see you back at it.
Question, your top coil hats look identical to factory. Given that they are weak link and known for bending in GU and especially GQ, have you got anything in mind to beef them up? Possibly you've used thicker plate and this is not an issue anymore...
Yewww
Fuck finally!!!
Hey mate- nice work on the troopy, cannot wait to see what else is in stall,
Question- who did you get the mounts off for the 75 cab swap on the 80 chassis, I’m about to do the same & for the life of me can’t find anyone making them
Thanks bro! McKinnons cruisers for the mounts
Great work, although I almost switched off after the first 2 seconds...
Thanks, why’s that?
@@ShedBuilt The whole 'paying respect' thing. :)
Bit late but I’ll forgive ya x
Man you have so much on the go haha Stoked to see the troopy back on the tube. Get the troopy done then do the van! Can't wait to see this thing on the road. BTW why did you heat the chassis with the torch before priming with weld thru?
Hahah yeah it never stops! It’s to remove over 30 years of oils and grimes that have buried itself within the pores of the steel
Wizardry
Ex ellent
been so long
Can you do mine while you're at it?
😂😂😂
Why is your steel blue?
It’s just a rust prevention weld through coating, very common in aus
and here i thought you just ditched the youtubes
Can’t stop won’t stop!
Stop it 🤤
Why anyone would use a weak patrol axle instead of an 80series axle is totally beyond reason, keeping it all Toyota makes more sense if you want to go outback touring, parts availablity etc.
I hope this is a joke
