This is the most California thing I’ve ever seen
You're from ca?
@@mirangparikh don’t gotta be from there to know this is some boujee Cali bs.
@@sungukyun2608 im from california and that is NOT how it is AT ALL. this is the richie areas like LA or northern california.
no its not like that
in the nicer areas sure. this gives off a pasadena vibe bc there are so many grocery stores there like this.
My Indian Middle class mom has taught me: "if you can't find the price tag, LEAVE IT"
I was taught to do a price check. Target and walmart have scanners everywhere but I guess stores like these don't have them. Anyway I don't check the price on my food items since I go grocery shopping to health food stores and I know what I'm getting myself into. Not every average grocery store has a large special vegan section. Not to mention sprouts has one of the largest plant milk sections ever with a tiny 4 ft wide section of animal based dairy. Includes milk, butter, yogurt, eggs and other. I don't really go to whole foods cause they are a bit pricier than sprouts but I do on special occasions. They have an insane variety of products and they label 365 probucts for you plus the people are nice and I feel at home in there. Wholefoods over all is nicer than sprouts too, I guess it comes at a price. That valet parking is not free at all.
@@3arthandsky i guess we *don't* have target or wallmart in India so we just ask the price or forget it
Or tell cashier to “price check” first…or have them subtract item after scanning.
@@ZubairAhmed-yw5zg i thought they were worldwide stores. They should at least have sticker or tag with prize.
Your indian middle class mom sounds just like my white middle class mom
That they offer "free" valet parking just shows how much profit they're making on those items
This looks like the Grove location where parking is limited and a pain, especially during the holidays. I for one dont want to schlep around the lot carrying multiple bags of groceries. And rogue shopping carts? No way.
and im sure the people actually working there everyday see none of those profits, capitalism ahoy.
@@muttipiDo you see the profits where you work?
@kevinbl4836 no, my point is that the people doing the labor don't get the profits they generate.
In crowded places in California people offer valet parking to keep the flow of traffic moving and prevent crashes! Century City in Los Angeles CA has had valet parking since the 1970's
I bet the workers are paid minimum wage and couldn’t afford to buy their food there.
That's true for every business.
My local walmart once had a food drive FOR THEIR EMPLOYEES. So, they could eat on Thanksgiving.
Exactly
And people who build yachts can't afford to own one themselves.
This is true of many restaurants lol but agreed, the service required is far above what a Walmart employee would do. But let me tell you, unless you’re making money you are content with in customer service, you are not likely to provide the service I’m sure a store like this would require of their employees. So I wouldn’t be surprised if they were actually paid well. I mean, Trader Joe’s employees don’t even make minimum wage these days.
Losers who don't want to play the game at a high level complain. Winners continually advance and make moves. Want to afford being able to blow money? Make yourself into a person who can run a business for yourself. Increase your value to employers. Or stay on your knees and beg for a $1/hr raise for bagging groceries. Your call.
“They got my car back in seconds.” They better have it back in seconds and for those prices, it better be freshly washed and detailed.
