Its not my type of game but it looks and sounds incredible! Taopunk is surely a nice concept, already in love with wuxia and xianxia, bringing that into a futuristic scenario just makes it more awesome! an open world ARPG with this setting would be really nice.
Played the demo. Tbh I was getting so invested that I forgot it was just a demo, so I was disappointed when it ended lol. I'm definitely buying the full game, I enjoyed the music, art style, and gameplay. The beginning was pretty disturbing too, as I was going through the level I kept having this sick feeling in my stomach from watching what was happening in the background 😭 I'm not very good at soulslike games or ones that focus heavily on parrying, so I wanted to play the demo to see how I faired with this game. Surprisingly, I got the hang of it pretty quickly. I think it's because it's more of a 2D side scroller instead of a 3D game, which made it easier for me to see exactly when I'd need to parry. All in all, I can't wait for the full game to come out!
Im tired of people being so salty about how long silksong is taking, hollow knight if i recall took over 4 years of development, and silksong is 2x bigger and cherry said they wanted to polish it to perfection. Im waiting patiently

Does it remind anyone of The Lord of Light by Roger Zelazny? I've beaten two sols so far, absolutely loving everything: the worldbuilding, the art style, and the fighting mechanics. It's also interesting how smoothly they blend ancient chinese folklore with technocratic dystopian settings.
