I really enjoyed meeting you at the NAMM show about two years back. You took the time to take a picture with me me, which I was and I grateful for. My wife had the picture framed and now it’s in my keyboard studio. Thank you for your creative videos and sharing your passion of music with us!
The second on playing the Korg Natilus and the Roland .. sends me shivers down the spine. Seeing your passion on this and how much fun it is for you, gives me happy feelings every time. Thanks for your videos.
The 5ths on the Jupiter 8 way back in 1984 is what changed my life. That was the moment I chose to spend my life on electronic music. 13 years old, 1984, middle school.
It's nice to see someone making music with a mid-level key like MODX and not just claiming that you can only make it with a flagship or a Nord or that a MODX-like is thin and stuff. Great collection btw. They all sound awesome
Your synth arsenal is awesome. That prophet 5 screams Lyle mays. I grew up during the 1970's synth Era that changed music for ever and better. When I want to know synth history I consult you. Thank you for your wonderful service 😀😊🙏❤👍😎🌞💥🇺🇸.
OMG... 19th May R.I.P. Vangelis! So sad... My first exposure to beautiful synth world building music was with Vangelis and Jean-Michel Jarre during the late 70s. Watching you play some of the early synths made me think so much of the magic that those early pioneers could create with them.
That room is fantastic!!! Awesome!! Dr mix, you're privileged and blesed! Thanks for share with us your wonderful sintetizers and your spectacular job!!! God bless you!!
I just love your enthusiasm and affection for all your instruments, and the obvious joy they bring you. I can relate. I've started down the rabbit hole, myself. I've been a Roland fanatic for a long while, and I love my Jupiter-X most of all. But I recently purchased my very first true analog synth, an Arturia Matrixbrute. It's so much fun, I'm totally loving it! Your videos have definitely inspired me. Thanks for the fun! :)
What an amazing collection Claudio! In this day and age, I still have an obsession with the Roland Juno 6/60. I just love the look of it and the sounds.
Thank you for sharing your passion and your wonderful creative studio. My favorite synth will always be MiniMoog and the Rhods. Thank you Claudio, it's inspiring to follow you on this Podcast. Thank you 3 times. LOV
Your Jupiter X is so astounding! I love your whole collection .. the Minimoog especially... But Jupiters of any kind blow my freaking mind! Finally, your PolyBrute is stupid cool.
That mini moog is sublime! What a fantastic piece of music history and still so relevant. I was watching super electric by Bomfunk MC and I am positive the Bass line is a Moog.
Thanks for the visit of your studio! Very great! Great synths (I like minimoog! Lol!). The stand Blackpanther is genius! Bravo for this choice!!! Good music!!! :)
Congrats on the NAMM invite😁 1 word 4 Profit 5= Syrup. Sweet and rich. I was a little surprised to not seeing a Fantom there but that may be too duplicative with computer setup. Play on Dude 😁🎹👍👍
Wow, the Prophet marks an era of synthesizer revolution. So many pop hits from the70s and eighteas were carried by that sound. But yeah, the Minimoog and the Rhodes represent pop and fusion big time. I like the Nautilus a lot, a modern flexible instrument that seems to have it all. I am sure Keith Emerson would be envious of that ribbon controller! I am so happy Namm is back in the game. It's always too busy and noisy, but a great place to meet people of the trade. I spent my holiday money on a trip to East Sussex, so Namm is not for me this time, but I hope you manage to broadcast from Namm! Doctor Mix, thank you for the tour, enjoy your trip, and by the way, you have a great rack!
Prophet 5 sound is Lyle Mays(RIP) iconic patch used in most all his music with the Pat Metheny Group. It also was on the factory patches of the Roland Super JX-10. Roland D-50 came out in 1987, not 1984. That patch was called "soundtrack" also from the factory sound patches.
This is so cool, thats our history right there, all the music ee listened to over the past 40 years!...ohh how about a Vangelis tribute, what a star! :'(
Awesoooome! Thank you for this tour! You're living my dream, man. Also good luck at the Summer NAMM show! For the first Prophet 5 sound, the best word I could boil it down to is... Childhood. I get this feeling of childhood nostalgia just from listening to that sound... I don't know if it's because I've heard it in games or TV before but it takes me back to when I was a kid! Lovely playing! 💖
That's awesome that you are going to NAMM. If I still lived in Southern California I would seriously consider going. It would be awesome to see you play. That black panther stand looks awesome. I will eventually need something like that for my studio.
Nice Doc. Nice cable management. I've always wanted to run filtered air through my studio, keeping the dust off as best as possible. Haven't yet found a system, short of a clean room type.
Everything's great but the gems on this video are at 1:10 the interaction of Mini Moog and Rhodes and at 11:17 with the Barry White riff on the Clavinet.
Ciao Claudio, Can you rank your synths according how much you use each, or do you go to certain synths for certain musical styles? Which synth do you think you cannot live without?
I would LOVE to see a video of you teaching us how to play those Neo-Soul chords you played on the Rhodes. I wish I could play like that. Sounds so good!
Right now I'm equipped with a MODX6+ and new newe baby, a Sequential Pro 3 SE. My first setup was just an Atari ST and a DX-100, but it expended to a DX7, D-50 and an Ensoniq EPS. Although not all of it was mine, and some was stolen from our van after a gig.
The hardware nerds just love this! I realize it appeals to both baby boomers, who can afford to collect these classics, and millennials that WANT to inherit these synths when grandpa dies 😮
Claudio you should do a video on the immense Vangelis he was really a synth angel and all of us owe to him some of the best synth Music of all times here are my favourite albums : Blade runner The City El Greco Direct.
At 12:23 retro gaming is the same way, yeah you could emulate games on pc for free pretty much, but most (like me) would prefer playing games on the original console, original source, also please vlog the NAMM trip
That Prophet 5 reminded me of the title song for the "Robin of Sherwood" by Clannad. Paused the video and did a quick Google search and that indeed was a Prophet 5 :)
My Crumar Stratus was my first polysynth too! bought it together with a Elka Soloist 505!.... my still works but need some cleaning. btw, there are some special, wanted, chips in these Crumars 😎

RIP Vangelis. One of the greatest synthesizer composers is no longer amongst us. Great studio Claudio!
...RIP, what a great loss, but his masterpieces will remain for a very long time...
we are privileged to see the inner Synth Sanctum of Doctor Mix Master of the Multi-Synthverse...enjoy yourself at NAMM Doc
Yes sir, you understand how to use a HydraSynth. Everyone complaining about a digital sound but that was no digital sound you played there Sir.
I love how you're not an analog snob but combine both lovely analog with classic digital and modern romplers
I love the way how you say to all synthesizers you have "this is one of my favorite synthesizer" 🥰 high level gear love 🥰
I really enjoyed meeting you at the NAMM show about two years back. You took the time to take a picture with me me, which I was and I grateful for. My wife had the picture framed and now it’s in my keyboard studio. Thank you for your creative videos and sharing your passion of music with us!
If I had to choose just one that would definitely be Rhodes. What an amazing sound.🙂🎹
The second on playing the Korg Natilus and the Roland .. sends me shivers down the spine. Seeing your passion on this and how much fun it is for you, gives me happy feelings every time. Thanks for your videos.

This is not a Synthesizer room, it is a Synthesizer paradise!
Lacks a CS80 and Synclavier II i think for the definitivr paradise
@@saricubra2867 Oh you just reminded me, do you know that Vangelis died 3 days ago?
@@4theSun Well, he is in synth music heaven now.
So glad to see your Clavinet just chillin with its buddies in the same room. You should give it even more love. 😎
His enthusiasm is highly contagious!
It's good to see how detailed a studio can be, with tons of synthesizers, panels and everything! :) Nice work!
OMG... 19th May R.I.P. Vangelis! So sad... My first exposure to beautiful synth world building music was with Vangelis and Jean-Michel Jarre during the late 70s. Watching you play some of the early synths made me think so much of the magic that those early pioneers could create with them.
Prophet 5 Sound - the one and only Lyle Mays. Love your video to create this sound very much.
That room is fantastic!!! Awesome!! Dr mix, you're privileged and blesed! Thanks for share with us your wonderful sintetizers and your spectacular job!!! God bless you!!
I like your taste in classic sounds - nostalgia is an audible treat.
I just love your enthusiasm and affection for all your instruments, and the obvious joy they bring you. I can relate. I've started down the rabbit hole, myself. What an amazing collection Claudio! In this day and age, I still have an obsession with the Roland Juno 6/60. I just love the look of it and the sounds.
Even more rare is the Jupiter 8 there.
That Rhodes sounds so good. The audio quality comes through, even after YT compression. Enjoy California!
Good video and good sounds!! Congrats Doctor 👍
Thank you for sharing your passion and your wonderful creative studio. My favorite synth will always be MiniMoog and the Rhods. Thank you Claudio, it's inspiring to follow you on this Podcast. Thank you 3 times. LOV
Ethereal (Prophet) I really envy your room and all the synths!! Absolutely brilliant.
I swear I'd just love to chill in the studio while Claudio tinkers with his synths.
I kinda envy the cameraman!
Your Jupiter X is so astounding! I love your whole collection .. the Minimoog especially... But Jupiters of any kind blow my freaking mind! Finally, your PolyBrute is stupid cool.
Prophet 5 is the unmistakable sound of the Lile Mays/Pat Metheny group.
About the sound on the prophet 5, the melody feels like an ancient tribe getting ready for a successful harvest. 😀😀
That mini moog is sublime! What a fantastic piece of music history and still so relevant. I was watching super electric by Bomfunk MC and I am positive the Bass line is a Moog.
your energy is great love it
Thanks for the visit of your studio! Very great! Great synths (I like minimoog! Lol!). The stand Blackpanther is genius! Bravo for this choice!!! Good music!!! :)
Claudio please upload your live gigs. I really enjoy your sets, you alone bring up the vibe Lol.
Congrats on the NAMM invite😁

The sounds from the Prophet 5 are legendary.
Saving up for the new Oberheim OB-X8 at the moment.
I liked the SH1000 And the minimoog they are fav synth sounds

Another great video thanks Claudio. Have a blast at Namm, would love to be able to go. We need a decent music gear show over here in the UK!!
Amazing selection , all my favourites right there !
The only room you could lock me in and throw away the key. I would be in heaven in there.
That rhodes sounds amazing. Like you said, "butter..."
Even when your messing around, you're making beautiful sounds.
Thank you
Cool System ! Because maschine is my drummaschine ! So everything is close by you ! Nice !

Very nice ! The Juno-6 is my favorite synthesizer
Those stands are KEWL. I might need to rethink my current live setup.
Awesome studio. The Rhodes sounds simply sublime!

You must be a "LUCKY MAN" to have so much synths (originals).
Finally got a Juno 6 last weekend and love it to bits.
I really think you are the coolest keyboard player ever!
That's awesome that you are going to NAMM. If I still lived in Southern California I would seriously consider going. It would be awesome to see you play.
That black panther stand looks awesome. I will eventually need something like that for my studio.
You got the coolest toys.
Nice video and nice synths! Keep up the good work Doctor Mix!
Thanks Duffy :-)
Nice Doc. Nice cable management.

@9.53 made me melt what a super few seconds!!!
😦 una locura es esa habitación, por eso estás tan loco !🤯
Claudio's heaven
first words that comes to my mind at hearing the prophet are "Mike Oldfield". Great video as always!
Everything's great but the gems on this video are at 1:10 the interaction of Mini Moog and Rhodes and at 11:17 with the Barry White riff on the Clavinet.
Agreed.
Every time I see your videos it makes me want to do nothing else but play on my synths too 😆
Ciao Claudio, Can you rank your synths according how much you use each, or do you go to certain synths for certain musical styles? Which synth do you think you cannot live without?
Uhh interesting!!
I would LOVE to see a video of you teaching us how to play those Neo-Soul chords you played on the Rhodes. I wish I could play like that. Sounds so good!
Don't play the thirds :)

Hey Claudio! Word for the Prophet 5 sound: "80' Bubble Gum!"
I really enjoyed this video!!! Have a fantastic time making other amazing videos Doc! :)
Great gear collection 🙌
Right now I'm equipped with a MODX6+ and new newe baby, a Sequential Pro 3 SE. My first setup was just an Atari ST and a DX-100, but it expended to a DX7, D-50 and an Ensoniq EPS. Although not all of it was mine, and some was stolen from our van after a gig.

See you in Anaheim Dr. Mix!!!
AWEEESOME. GRACIAS
That prophet five gives me chills. I used to have one... wish I would have kept it... I was young and dumb
Claudio you should do a video on the immense Vangelis he was really a synth angel and all of us owe to him some of the best synth Music of all times here are my favourite albums : Blade runner The City El Greco Direct.
In the early 90s listened to Blade Runner, The City and Page of Life a lot while driving.
I wonder why his Polybrute never gets much attention. He even called it Korg Polybrute the first time...
Well at least its now in the main room
At 12:23 retro gaming is the same way, yeah you could emulate games on pc for free pretty much, but most (like me) would prefer playing games on the original console, original source, also please vlog the NAMM trip
The Prophet has that hopeful 80's sound
That Prophet 5 reminded me of the title song for the "Robin of Sherwood" by Clannad. Paused the video and did a quick Google search and that indeed was a Prophet 5 :)

Roland Jupiter X ???? 🤔🤔🤔
Arturia POLIBRUTE ??? 🤔🤔🤔
Korg Kronos ??? 🤔🤔🤔
Your little diddy on your Prophet 5 makes me think of Keith Emerson of ELP.
