Hi o/ Some tips to improve the build: -Your heal output will be a bit too low with Elementalist runes. I'd recommend the runes of the Monk -Since you are full celestial you got way more than enough boon duration so you can swap out the sigil on concentration for a Superior sigil of smoldering to increase your burning duration -On Honor traitline, you don't need "Honorable Staff" to maitain quickness, rather choose "Empowering Might" to help with might uptime on your sub group -With the recent changes of firebrand traits it is now way better to take "Quickfire" Instead of "Loremaster"' as a GrandMaster trait. It will share "Ashes of the Just" each time you apply quickness on an ally (with a 7s icd) and therefore boosting your DPS -On Radiance Traitline, swap out the "Perfect Inscription" trait because it is.... pretty useless and take "Amplified Wrath" as it will significantly increase your burning duration

Lol i was secretly playing celestial "hfb" with quickness Trainings for extra damage in fractals for months and nobody was complaining. It's so much fun. And I use staff with axe/torch ;)
Going to have to try this out. Also bought lots of gear to rock FB the same week they announced the change.. so have held off on equipping it. Might have lucked out. Really looking for something to help my group more than virtuoso does- but in a simplistic manner. This seems to be pretty decent indeed. Time to run some metas with it and delve into fractals!
They need to implement an active way to regen pages faster, like how Tome of Justice used to do with enemy kills, or lower the cost for the higher abilities(honestly drop the 2s to 1 and the 3s to 2). Something has to give because right now it is too harsh of a nerf.

Yeah firebrand is still just as powerful, they just made it a lot less fluid to use. The change recently just allows you to use any time at any time, but the page nerf made it weird to get used to.
I’m going to respectfully disagree with THH on the “less fluid” comment. I actually feel like the tome change makes it more fluid because you can jump in/out of tomes based on what you need at that moment (dps/heals/support). Previously i felt like i was locked in a tome until it was used up or else it was wasted. It definitely changed the play style, but in my opinion it was for the better.
We should benchamrk all supports together. I mean one alacrity support and one quickness support. One being healer one being dps. 8M golem, No added boons, medium damaging field and three power Mesmers using Sword Auto-Attack only. Main point is to check boon table to see if boons are missing while making sure the two supports will be benchmarket together. Rating go from SS to F F tier example would be Herald with Specter they will be missing Aegis and Protection while they can do healing it is not that amazing. SS would be HAM and QFB as they could offer stability and aegis on demand with Mech F2 and so on. The point of Damaging field is to remove full dps healers who can't heal that. So I don't know how full Celestial will turn out. That is also why we have 3 Auto-attacking full berserker mesmers. They will have to be benchamrked "full hp benchamrk" as if they drop below 90% hp they lose Scholar 10% damage bonus. Basically we are benchamrking how viable each healer combination with support dps actually is making factual benchmark that says "well this is top dps buuut" like 34k untamed paired with full celestial 13k firebrand if that was able to pass the medium damaging field benchmark while upkeeping over 90% damage ... Catalyst benchmark 46k with 10% bonus? That is 4k dps drop, if you have 3 Catalysts in group that is 12k DPS drop so you deal 12k benchmark and lose the 10% bonus? how about something like Heal Tempest who is able to upkeep 5k dps with 100% hp? that would be 17k total dps with 3 catalyst pulling benchmark ... That is also why we have only AA Mesmers in full berserker so we can check the 90% upkeep as it might not effect you 🙃
Scholar is 5% biggest advantage of herlad is being able to 20% Boon duration to 5 man and extend boons by 2 sec for 10 man. Alac spectre is OK dps on a super simple rotation and even now after the nerfs you give up around 3k barrier every 6-9 seconds. On dps support?! It also has crazy CC with Basilisk venom and headshot from pistol 4.

Yes it's maximum buff output was reduced, but the ability to grab what you need, from whatever tome you need, when you need... is incredible. But for dps/quickbrand, it made it feel incredibly clunky and I agree, either the page's need to be fixed, or they need to reduce the amount of pages certain abilities use.
The concept is awesome but you are wrong on the spec i think healalac willbender delivers better it might not hit as hard but you use sword and staff and heal even better with the plus of giving perma alacrity to everyone while having amazing mobility. Best healer ever.
you can also use the active of the signet as with the trait the passiv stays active even when used its like another but stronger empower

People play celestial firebrand in fractals if their team is good and doesn't need a lot of healing

It was 100% for the mobility since firebrand is very slow. But yes, axe provides a lot more burning!

I like to use the aegis swift ability. The one thats a foot lol my faves. Always fast boi

How are you able to generate 25 stacks of might with this build, is it with combos only?
Seraph is the better stat combo for healing + dmg builds. Cele is just cheaper to get.
(Also ur not forced to tank on seraph since no toughness)
Forgot Guardian was reworked 🤔 It is the only spec i did not lvled to 80. Guess gotta do it now 😏
