And it just so happens the Allies conveniently have internal strife where the Americans, Europeans and Pacific Front are essentially their own entities rather than support one another. Don't get me wrong, I like the story. And in vanilla canon the Allies are always victorious and I like the Soviets here were getting their wins but it was an almost complete stomp against the Allies. There was no war, the Allies had to be beaten into the corner for the plot's sake. That is plot armor. They got out of the corner because the writer decided the plot must so. There is no natural feeling of the war's progression and escalation. Also I know what happens at the end of this chapter, I like it.

This part so far : The Allies has pulled their ulti "Za Warudo" flying fortress [comeback], The Soviets and the PRC having a lil negotiation [did(n't) go well] The Epsilon in panik while preparing their ulti anime ahh trump card
Man imagine a first person game where you are the spec-ops sent by the Paradox Expeditionary Force to reinforce the Boston Allied Rebellion. Zapping to and fro between conflicted keypoints, having mission briefs one second and then arriving with futuristic Chrono tech weaponry in the midst of a battle the next second, then slowly the winning tide rises then yet slowly losing because of the newly massively adapted Magnetron and Mastermind vehicles, to counter ridiculous damages inflicted by these tanks that can literally pull apart metal objects while trying avert losses from having your mechanized unit being mind controlled, ultimately having to flee because the loss is just unbearable, resulting in a bittersweet ending. And that's just a small tiny part in an arc in a chapter. Also suspecting the Chinese fumbled their bags because they still have their generals intact. Imagine if Yunru is left to hold the reign just as the Soviet General was the only one alive after Yuri Massacred the Soviet ranks. Sometimes, forest fire is an obligation to purge the "parasitic" weeds.
The Chinese High Command was oblivious to the threat that Yuri poses, thinking they'll survive on their own with new cybernetic tech. Yunru knows how hopeless they are which is why she went and formed a different faction that plans for the future fight.

The Chinese refusing to rejoin the alliance never made sense to me. Yuri's forces was gunning straight for their heads and they still refused to get back in the fight. I hope there's an actually lore explanation for that.
Soviet and China in our timeline actually despite each other from the different sub-ideology, Stalinism (centralised industrialism) and Maoism (decentralised agrarianism). Mental Omega might have the same problems for both of them, plus China was seen as a faction that is not equal to Soviet and Confederation in the World Revolution.
The Chinese did not refuse, it was the Russians that did not agree to the terms the Chinese have proposed. China had the upper hand in the negotiations at that moment.
It's great that the Allies are now fighting back against the Epsilon with their new weapon the Paradox Engine, good thing they managed to destroy most of the Epsilon bases on the lands that they have occupied and why the Allies have been avoiding being landing their forces due to the presence of Psychic Beacons and Amplifiers. Although I kinda feel sorry about the ones that were left behind in the British Isles. More importantly I wonder what failed the negotiations with the Chinese for the Soviets, now they'll be still enemies?
Both sides were too arrogant. Russia wants to remain top dog despite the fact Epsilon kicked their asses in so they were in no position to negotiate, while China according to Yunru believed their war machine was unstoppable to all outside forces due to their immense manpower. The last point alone was why she ultimately decided to take action to establish the Revolt on her own instead of relying on the PLA as a whole to take the fight to Yuri.

Off topic: I still don't understand why allies don't use Chronosphere technology to directly transfer and collect the ore. Surely, it will be a lot cheaper than building multiple miniature version to put them in each collector.
Probably energy problems, Paradox didn't get fully charged before departure and the Chronosphere machine have limitation of overload.
They have not enough power to chronoshift
