I fished it for carp 2016 ish. I was waking and baking in Cornwall on holiday. Was off my head back then. I took my carp gear with me It was cold day. I fished under a small tiny walk way bridge. Not sure if you had the spot on camera. I caught jack. The canal went really narrow there. This video reminded me of the place , I thought it was a river! Keep away from substances
I love the channel name. Do You Partake in the Devil's Lettuce. Nothing better carp fish bbq beer and Spicy cigarette to chill all the worlds worry away.

Loved the video guys. Sorry to see you lose what seemed like a decent fish cal, but if it's any consolation I've had days like that myself and have been to a few places where I feel like I've been cursed but have just persevered so I could break the curse 👍🎣

I'm there for a weeks fishing next Saturday. My second week there this year. Had a mirror of 23lb 7oz from that busy section below the bridge. Little tip the fish are under your feet. Most of the way up the canal there is a shallow gravel shelf fish just off it towards the central track. Pick up alot more carp that way cracking video BTW
We did try the near margins for a bit but had no success :( good luck with your fishing if you're still there!

Thanks Russell! The camera we use currently is a Sony A74 and 2 go pro 11s, go pros are super handy to shoot quick content and can go underwater, plus are a lot less expensive and still decent quality!

Usual carp rigs might not work so well if a lot of fishing pressure and they have saw it all try a Carolina rig with a split shot 2 to 3" under the hook length popped up it works best

The water may be chocolate but try black boilies in the canal and I bet u will catch more I know I fished the fourth and Clyde all my days coconut hemp and oyster black boilies are way to catch

its not a curse anymore!! you go fishing to spend time with friends and loved ones, dani broke that curse :) you both should be extremely happy for that fish, ive never caught a river/canal carp! haha great video :)

Yes, it’s amazing out in the US however I know the majority of people fish for bass there!
