Dang Dude! too bad the chair isn't holding up. I remember watching your last review and thinking "oof not so great" I my self was thinking about a Secret Labs chair but your last review put me off it. I'm still rocking my $200 leather office chair from Costco, with a $25 lumbar pillow from Walmart haha! Leather sucks, so damn hot in the summer and too much work to keep clean. I too am looking into a nice mesh office chair now. THanks for the update! I hope ppl who are looking at these chairs/gaming chairs in general find this video, its certainly one of the very few critical ones out there and the only one i've seen that is from a multi-year user viewpoint. Hope 2021 is awesome for ya Mica!

@@stryp There are two types of ppl with this chair - those ho hate it and those who love it. Bad news is hat you dont know who you are, until you get it. Sadly i am in the first group and spending so much on the return is not possible. My main concern is not that it is firm, im okay with that. My former chair is even firmer, because all the foam in it just compressed. The problem i have maybe has something to do with the overall backrest to bottom position, or shape, or dunno. Long story short, my lower back is killing me. I ve been sitting in this for over a month and it still hurts. It hurts right under where the lumbar support is pushed. I ve tried all positions and all settings - it is still the same. My back is killing me after a whole day in it. Other then that the chair is solid. Even though i am 100kg and 193cm.
this is a bit late, but I wouldn't even blame the chair to be honest man. if you get paid like that, idk what issues you have, but you do have some back issues. I would just get the Embody man. $1200 is a ton of money. I get that, but so is $500 for a secret labs chair ever year to keep them fresh and not hurting your back. they come with a long ass warranty, they have full support, I think you should just pull the trigger on the embody if you haven't figured it out dude.
the secret labs EVO 2022 might be able to help you out. they really upped the lumbar support. but I honestly think you will be better off getting the Embody x Logitech. you can finance it bro, it's your health, you can afford it.
I actually found a Herman Miller Aeron that was barely used once everyone started working from home, so almost 2 years now and have absolutely no back issues. It's been fantastic. I should do a review on this one...
@@MicaDoesStuff my Titan Evo 2022 just shipped out about an hour ago, I am so excited to finally get a real chair. I was looking at a Vertagear, but the 5 year free warranty with the Secret labs sold me. I love mesh chairs, which almost sold me on the DXRacer mesh gaming chair they have out now. but I figured if I was spending that money I'd rather go with secret labs. I would love to have either an Embody or Aeron but they're just too much for me. Honestly, my dream, #1 chair I could get if I could just get a free chair, would easily be the LIFEFORM HIGH BACK EXECUTIVE OFFICE CHAIR, in a mesh probably black. they're the most comfortable and supportive chairs on the face of the earth, I sat in one for a few days before at my aunt and uncles place. it's indescribable man, literally like sitting in a firm cloud. Never the less I am extremely excited to upgrade from my no name black leather office depot chair that's been worn down for 4 years now, that I sit in for at least 12 hours every day and sometimes even sleep in and it doesn't even recline lmfao. I am the most excited man on earth to be getting this secret labs.
