She became so confused and thought her parents don’t truly love her and it caused her to attempt suicide and end up in the nut house for 3 months. They have Pride clubs in the schools that is led by a teacher that is usually supportive of that culture. None of the staff is required to tell you and usually will not tell you if your child is a participant. Colorado has a case where the teachers finally outed the district after they were put in the crosshairs, because the district encouraged the teachers to conduct a paper census regarding their sexuality. In Vermont a Christian private school was banned for forfeiting a game against a team with a transgender student by the Vermont Principals association. In Monterey County California a mother spoke out against the school “socially transitioning” her child (11 yrs old at the time) into a boy. A testimony to congress from “transitioned” person Chloe Cole spoke to the atrocities that happened in Chloe’s life leading up to the decision, and a medical professional told congress they are still trying to figure this process out themselves then described the current shortfalls of the medical process in attempting to transition a child. These ideas have eroded the education system to the point Newsom forced a school district to accept a curriculum, by levying a $1.5 million fine which take money from the children without the school board/district properly vetting the new material. This is the world our future generations are growing up in.

We took our children out of Rockford for other reasons not pertaining to this area of topic, but your story helped solidify our decision to keep homeschooling! I’m from the Holland area in Michigan. A friend of mine who has a student at Zeeland schools, was suspended for 3 days because he “meowed” during class goofing off with his friends. He was told he was suspended because he might offend someone who identifies as a cat in their school. No formal complaint of the student was made by said “trans” kid. No joke. Meanwhile this same student has been bullied since grade school because of a speech impediment and nothing had been done about that. Multiple parent/school meetings on the problem. The mother went in and raised holy hell and threatened to sue. The principal ended up consulting the school board’s lawyer and then backed his train up and apologized to the kid and parents and reversed the suspension. They knew that if it went public, the school would be under fire and more kids would be pulled out and with them the state funding. These parents have to take a stand against the nonsense.
I think what bothers me the most, apart from the deception and out right lying to parents, is school staff who are not at all qualified to make these assumptions about a childs mental health pushing this radical ideology. This is a big part of the danger of teaching children this stuff, it is confusing and alarming for kids and to have someone with authourity over them but a real lack of knowledge or expertise counselling them is just plain negligent!
This is why so many parents are taking their children out of public schools. Opting for charter schools, parochial schools or home schooling or neighbors taking turns home schooling. If you want to put your children in parochial or private school, but don’t have $, ask them if they give scholarships. Christian schools especially rarely turn children away if parents can’t pay tuition.

Autism is a neurological developmental disability that can have serious mental health implications. This is a *disabled* child we are talking about who was in a very delicate mental state, from what the parents have said (depression, anxiety, etc). If she does have gender identity issues that she needs to work through, it should be done with the full knowledge and guidance of her PARENTS and trusted mental health professionals familiar with autism. The entitlement is on the parents' part. You do not know your child better than they know themselves, and for many children, being outed to your parent as trans is a literal death sentence. Not lying could get that child killed. The school was entirely in the right. Social transition does no harm unless you are intentionally harming trans children. The mom said she was sharing personal dynamics with the staff to try to help their daughter! Obviously these people are not worthy of that kind of trust and I would fear for any other parents in the future to divulge personal information to any school staff members. Stories like this are proof that we should homeschool our children. We can homeschool even if we’re single or if we are in a dual income household. People don’t realize how much of the day is wasted in public and private schools. All it takes is two or three hours to get the same amount instruction at home.

Of course it's an open secret at school! There are parent who will literally murder their children if they are trans. Not keeping this a secret could get children killed. Imagine the emotional damage of a trans child being outed to their violently transphobic parents, details of their personal life splashed all over the news. The idea that her "emotional" damage by not "aiding" her transition is laughable! The core of her disability is emotional. While there are ranges along the spectrum, from mild to severe, the very concept of being trans would not only be one an autistic child would have a difficult time understanding and "share" with school admin, but could not have the emotional maturity to even conceive in the first place. None of the staff is required to tell you and usually will not tell you if your child is a participant. In Vermont a Christian private school was banned for forfeiting a game against a team with a transgender student by the Vermont Principals association. In Monterey County California a mother spoke out against the school “socially transitioning” her child (11 yrs old at the time) into a boy. A testimony to congress from “transitioned” person Chloe Cole spoke to the atrocities that happened in Chloe’s life leading up to the decision, and a medical professional told congress they are still trying to figure this process out themselves then described the current shortfalls of the medical process in attempting to transition a child. These ideas have eroded the education system to the point Newsom forced a school district to accept a curriculum, by levying a $1.5 million fine which take money from the children without the school board/district properly vetting the new material. This is the world our future generations are growing up in.

I’m from the Holland area in Michigan. A friend of mine who has a student at Zeeland schools, was suspended for 3 days because he “meowed” during class goofing off with his friends. He was told he was suspended because he might offend someone who identifies as a cat in their school. No formal complaint of the student was made by said “trans” kid. No joke. Meanwhile this same student has been bullied since grade school because of a speech impediment and nothing had been done about that. Multiple parent/school meetings on the problem. The mother went in and raised holy hell and threatened to sue. The principal ended up consulting the school board’s lawyer and then backed his train up and apologized to the kid and parents and reversed the suspension. They knew that if it went public, the school would be under fire and more kids would be pulled out and with them the state funding. These parents have to take a stand against the nonsense.

Autism is a neurological developmental disability that can have serious mental health implications. This is a *disabled* child we are talking about who was in a very delicate mental state, from what the parents have said (depression, anxiety, etc). If she does have gender identity issues that she needs to work through, it should be done with the full knowledge and guidance of her PARENTS and trusted mental health professionals familiar with autism. In fact I have done quite a bit of special education advocacy and have worked with students who are on the autism spectrum. Do you mean to tell me that the father cannot work because he has autism? People with autism are fully capable of holding down jobs. If this situation is one that you consider "healthy and normal," then you must experience quite a bit of dysfunction in your day to day life. Most good parents I know wouldn't exploit their troubled child for financial gain. Even if they really needed the money. Doesn't say good things about "Bible based beliefs," sadly. I hope this family gets the help it obviously needs

The state would have to pass laws revoking state employees immunity to jail them but it should become law.
They said the councilor provided a book to a minor that contained excessively graphic material. Therefore the councilor needs to be sued and fired for knowingly distributing pornographic material to a minor.

The entitlement is on the parents' part. You do not know your child better than they know themselves, and for many children, being outed to your parent as trans is a literal death sentence. Not lying could get that child killed. The school was entirely in the right. Social transition does no harm unless you are intentionally harming trans children. Whereas refusing to accept your children when they tell you who they are is linked directly to high suicide rates.

The mom said she was sharing personal dynamics with the staff to try to help their daughter! Obviously these people are not worthy of that kind of trust and I would fear for any other parents in the future to divulge personal information to any school staff members. Seek alternative sources of aid if your child seems to be depressed or extremely anxious would be my advice.

Outing children to their parents can literally get them killed. Or beaten, or sent to conversion camp, or disowned and kicked out. The only moral option is to preserve their privacy. If a child doesn't want their parent to know about an aspect of their identity it's for a good reason. Children are growing people, not property or pets, and generally know themselves better than their parents do - and it is on parents to create a safe and trusting enough environment that your child can be honest with you. These parents are obviously not safe people for their son to be himself around.

Stories like this are proof that we should homeschool our children. We can homeschool even if we’re single or if we are in a dual income household. People don’t realize how much of the day is wasted in public and private schools. All it takes is two or three hours to get the same amount instruction at home.

Of course it's an open secret at school! There are parent who will literally murder their children if they are trans. Not keeping this a secret could get children killed. The important thing is that he had a supportive community at school where he could safely explore his identity instead of taking drastic measure on his own. Maybe he'll grow out of it, maybe he won't, but his parents have made sure that it isn't their business making it clear that they are not safe people for him to be himself around.

The idea that her "emotional" damage by not "aiding" her transition is laughable! The core of her disability is emotional. While there are ranges along the spectrum, from mild to severe, the very concept of being trans would not only be one an autistic child would have a difficult time understanding and "share" with school admin, but could not have the emotional maturity to even conceive in the first place. My cousin's son diagnosis is VERY MILD autism. You wouldn't know it at all unless you engaged in conversation with him, AT LENGTH. And even then, you would have to discuss complex thoughts, concepts and events dealing with everyday life. But if you were to begin a conversation about feelings, relationships (other than his understanding of friendship) attractions and acting on those feelings, his autism would be front and center. For you to me this statement shows to us all, that you "drank, and continue to drink the Kool-Aid, with gusto! I would like to see your data on the many lives saved.
