Been collecting for so long and thought I had done my homework in past on variants, but definitely learned some new things. You had a few variants I'd never heard of before (R5-D4, Squidhead, Bib Fortuna) and didn't mention some I thought were more common knowledge, which is probably why they didn't make top 10, like AT-AT Commander (different color helmet logos), Biker Scout (different mouth formations), Ugnaught (different apron colors), White Bespin Guard (different mustaches) and a few others. I thought I had most of the variants I wanted and knew about, but you definitely introduced a few new ones I should look out for. Thanks for the video.

They both have great tips on how to refurb beaters, as well as make customs. I have one collection of minty non-refurbished figures for display like you, but during the pandemic to fill some extra time, I began to refurb beaters and do customs
Great start to this video, you never now, 'variant-Joey' might be worth something in a few years time! Some great info there, and I'm guessing the Han-Head was my first variant I noticed as a kid, as the neighbours head was bigger than my brothers ; we just thought it was a manufacturing error 🧐

Binge watching your videos. I'd have to say my favorite variant is the Luke Bespin ginger hair variant from the smile factory. I've got him on a number of videos on my channel. I would like to acquire one of those trilogo Fetts someday. The grey plastic is lighter in color and more screen accurate. These days a lot of people mistake degradation for variants. Great video..can't wait for the next ones!

The hollow-eyed IG-88 is my favourite variant. The figure is silver in colour rather than dull grey. The hollow-eyed variant also has sharper surface detailing - also, I believe, added detail that the 'softer sculpt' version lacks! The hollowed-eyed version is the better looking one, IMO. I did own the lighter coloured Boba Fett (in 1991, a flea market purchase). I paid peanuts for it (the seller didn't realise it was a variant - he didn't even think it was a STAR WARS figure!). I didn't like this Boba Fett variant because of the sloppier-than-usual paint application (common to this variant) - nor the colours (dark brown belt) - on the figure. Sold him off in 1994. I've been regretting it ever since. I remember my figure variant had the 'red rocket' extended quite a bit out of his back - unusually so - but was firmly glued in place. Now, I only own the HONG KONG and TAIWAN versions - along with the 2020 RETRO COLLECTION Boba Fett. Never liked the darker-skinned Yoda (brown snake variant). He may be more screen accurate, but I much prefer the more colourful, brighter-skinned, 'orange snake Yoda'. The orange snake, around his neck, really 'pops' visually.

I was first only interessted in modern SW figures. then bought some cheap vintage ones... then got into vintage ones... then into country variants... then normal variants... now i am already at the next step: vintage bootlegs... and their variants. pls send help! or better: send SW figures! :D ;)

What is the difference between the tri logo boba Fett and the normal Boba Fett ?
