Very accurate review. This really suits players with a one handed backhand who play aggressive and hit through the ball. I too have bought a couple of those, added 1.5g of lead at 10 and 2 each (3g total) to bump up the SW a bit. I wish they had done this frame with a 315mm balance instead of 310mm to increase the SW in stock form, but adding a few g of lead as I did solve the issue.
I use the VCORE PRO 97 with about 6g in the handle and 3g at 12 o clock. I string relatively low at about 46-48lbs (~20kg) as I feel the control of the VCP97 is where it shines and I feel confident swinging out knowing my balls will land in. However I do find myself hitting flatter with it and want more net clearance. I hear that the VCORE 95 and VCOREPRO 97 are very similar and am wondering if making the switch is worth it?
You will definitely get more arc on the ball with the Vcore 95 since it has more access to spin and speed. Yes, quite similar but unless you have a real problem I wouldn’t say you need to switch. The best would be to try it and and compare for your self
I switched from the Vcore Pro 97 to the new Vcore 95 and I much much prefer it. Better feel for me, more spin for sure. Feel it most on the serve, so much cleaner on the 95
I too have the VCore Pro 97 but the lighter unstrung weight 290g version. I love it, but I also feel I need a racquet with a slightly higher launch angle. My only concern with the 95 is the higher 310 unstrung weight and the slightly thicker 22 mm beam as compared to the VCore Pro 97 's 21 mm beam. I only like racquets with thin beams of 21mm or less.
What's spin and power level like vs Radical MP? I play a very spinny forehand and a bit flatter OHBH. I get ample spin with Radical but the low launch angle makes it dip a bit early meaning sometimes I don't get that penatrating spin which is hard for the opponent to deal with. Power level I think is in a good spot with Radical tho
I would say the spin potential is greater with the Vcore 95. I like to string it around 22-23 kg to allow the strings to move a bit more and offer a bit higher launch and loop over the net. Power would be slightly lower but I still like the pop that it gives, more on mid tension like I said
I have the VCORE Pro 97 290 grams version and love it's thin 21mm beam, I am thinking of switching to the 95 but I am concerned about its higher 310 weight and thicker 22mm beam as compared to my VCore Pro 97 290 gram version which has a 21 mm beam
I don’t think you will notice the frame thickness, it just adds some stability and power. The weight is definitely needed because otherwise you won’t get any plow through or stability from the racquet
I have tried some different but now I play with Solinco Hyper-G 1.25 at 24/23kg. About 3 grams of lead at 12 o’clock and Head Hydrosorb Pro base grip. So about 315-320g in weight and 310mm balance
I am switching from prostaff 97 v13 (315g) to vcore 95. I play as an aggressive baseliner. How do you compare this two rackets? And is the vcore95 better for attacking game style? Ty, GR from Croatia.
Hi! I haven’t played much with the Pro Staff so I can’t be so precise but I can give it a go. The Vcore 95 has a much bigger sweet spot despite having a smaller head size. It is also faster through the air and therefore more maneuverable. Overall it is easier to use and more forgiving and definitely suited for an aggressive style of play. I would add some weight to it though, at the top to give it but more plowthrough which it lacks a bit
Thank you! I used the Vcore personally since I did this review. About 1-2 weeks ago I switched to the Blade 18x20 and went down a bit in static weight as well as string tension
I did very much. They were worn out so I had to either replace or buy new ones. So I decided I wanted to play with 18x20 since it makes me move my feet more and do all the work since otherwise the result will be worse
The Vcore is much easier to swing and to play with in general, doesn’t demand the same quality from the player I would say. Quicker through the air and bigger sweet spot, more modern if you understand that term
Biggest difference is how the ball and racquet travels. Vcore is much faster through the air, better maneuverability, and therefore you be able to generate more spin and get a higher clearance over the net. It also has more power to it, it can make use of a bit of weight in the hoop though as I mentioned. Blade 16x19 in stock form in my opinion is pretty useless, it doesn’t perform close to the Vcore
Great job as always with this review! Have you tried the Wilson Shift 99 300g racquet yet? everyone keeps raving about it, but I would like to hear your opinion, I'm not convinced, I really trust your reviews, please do a review if you can! Thanks! Great video! 🙏
Tennisrally: I’m testing both the Shift 300 and the VCore 100…. For some reason, I’m not having a good experience with the VCore… a little clunky, head heavy.. not sure … will send it back and keep the Shift…. I’m assuming that the VCore 95 is out of my league since I’m a 4.0 senior singles player, even though it is more head light than the VCore 100… Ciao, John
The Vcore is more maneuverable, in stock form the specs are different therefore are some aspects different as well. Less power but faster to swing. Better connection to the string bed I would say. Strings for the Radical is pretty versatile but a softer round poly works great. I used Head Lynx for a while which seemed to work fine
I’ve been using Luxilon Adrenaline 1.25 at 24kg or 53lbs. Seems to work great for me, could potentially string lower but the sweet spot is still fairly big

I think confidence is the right word to explain the feeling with this racket. Thanks for your review
my Friend? what the better for your game? Extreme tour 2022 or Vcore95 2023?
What are the differences and changes between the 2021 models?
How would you compare the Vcore 95 to the Ezone 98?

What is your current customization and string setup on it? Thanks!

Would you take this or the head gravity
I recently switched to the Vcore is definitely this👍
great and spot on review as always!! How's college offers going?
Thank you! After a lot of offers from different schools I haven’t found “the one” so I’m not currently looking for any actually
Hi. Do you have the 2 piece stringing instructions for the new Yonex Core 95?
I have no instructions
Nice video. For you it is the vcore or the blade the most powerful of the two? and the one that gives better spin?
Vcore for sure. More action and effect on the ball upon impact
Beautiful one handed rbackhand. What is your personal racket?
Thank you! I used the Vcore personally since I did this review. About 1-2 weeks ago I switched to the Blade 18x20 and went down a bit in static weight as well as string tension
Why did you switch to Blade? I thought you really enjoyed vcore 95
I did very much. They were worn out so I had to either replace or buy new ones. So I decided I wanted to play with 18x20 since it makes me move my feet more and do all the work since otherwise the result will be worse
Have tried prestige tour 95 and how compered to this one

How would you compare this racket to the Wilson Blade v8 16x19? (power, control, spin, sweetspot, manouvrability)
Thank you!

How would you compare it to the Radical MP? Any string recommendations for the Radical since it can feel quite stiff?

What about 98 vcore 2023 ? İs it good with one hand backhand did u ever tried
I haven’t tried the new 98 no. Only previous versions. It works fine as well. Just keep in mind that it’s more powerful and less maneuverable
@@Tennisrally_
hey, what is your string of choice for the new vcore 95 + tension ?
I’ve been using Luxilon Adrenaline 1.25 at 24kg or 53lbs. Seems to work great for me, could potentially string lower but the sweet spot is still fairly big
Thx :)
interesting - really glad that the racket makes you in a match like you play in practice - most players really want this.
it's my racquet : )
