Our prophet muhammad sav. finished his prayer and ripped off his only coat he had to not wake uo the cat from its nap... We cannot understand the beauty of his understanding of mercy and his ways he was the most beautiful person (personality and character) to ever exist... As muslims we can only try to follow him to step in his footsteps but unfortunately we are a kilometer away to the side

Not true. Hitler loved his dogs. He loved animals. Watch the videos and photos of him with his german shepherds. And think of what he did or ordered to do to milions of people. His hatered towards others was terrifying. His disdain of lives of others and the way he was delighted in making others suffer was something beyond any limits. He was evil, truly evil and yet, he loved animals! Kindness towards animals is not a sign of deeper human qualities. Only your attitude towards other humans tells what kind of person you are. Only your behaviour towards your fellow humans shows your true worth.

I'm a Russian orthodox old believer. When the bishop comes to my house and we pray or sing my cat could be in a dead sleep and once he hears it he comes and rubs up against the bishop and sits next to him while we pray. Animals can feel the holy spirit.

His companion Abu Hurairah was also a cat lover, always have a kitten in his robe sleeve. The name Abu Hurairah itself means "Father of the cats".

Edit: since I accidentally started an argument in the comments, I didn't mean that the cat loved the prayer because of the religious aspect but was moreso trying to say the cat was attracted to the feeling these people were having while praying. Cats are very sensitive animals, like snakes and horses and can feel our emotions so the cat probably wanted to join in on whatever was going on! Doesn't have to do with the fact they were praying, but that everyone was probably feeling lots of positive emotions and the cat wanted in on that :)

@@Got4chNot religious myself, but this has nothing to do with Christian vs Islam. In God (Allah) eyes we are all made in his image, so there should be no offense taken to anyone. We are all human. I love all of my Christian and Muslim brothers and sisters.
I have always admired the consistency in the Muslim religion. I worked with a Muslim Physician who closed his door at a certain time everyday to pray. He is a good man, and cares deeply about his patients. They dont waiver from the traditional ways of their religion. Its impressive and inspiring to me.
I was raised Catholic and have always had an admiration for the Islamic faith as well. My city has a large Muslim population. I go to their shops all the time. The people there are great and the food they make is wonderful.
It's a shame there's a sect that taints their religion with hatred.
