I've always thought about STALKER extraction with similar gameplay loop like Hunt Showdown. both are my fav games, and this seems to just have what I want. I can't wait to play this.
This seems much more up my alley than some of the other shooters out there.. but I've really been trying to stick to PVE games.. doubt they'll have a mode for that so I may pass.. ooh well.. have fun guys!
As great as the game looks so far I think it’s clear that they need a lot more going on in the environment side of things. It should not have to rely of players to make the game loop intense and varied.
the big map view is wild, what breaks the immersion for me is knowing where most of these weapon models/attachments are from as in who the creator/seller is. kinda wish youd make your own
It is a very small dev team. So what they are using store bought assets and Procedural generation to build the initial game. The game is still a ways off from even early access release. Let alone the full release. sidenote: I forgot the term that used to be used for a game going into a full commercial release. The term is from back before things like early access releases and what not. If anybody can remember the term i would really appreciate it. edit: NVM, i remember what it is called. It is going 'Gold'.
I hope they change these extremely annoying footstep sounds. Some devs dont think. They record the sounds from 1mm distance, but thats not how it sounds in reality. Our ears are like atleast 1 meter away from most sound sources. Tarkov did the same retarded mistake. Its unbearable and makes me nervous.
Fair point. I made a custom tarkov footstep pack for Stalker Anomaly. The standard ones are too loud and pan left or right when you strafe. I made them quieter and mono. I will definitely be making sure the devs are aware for BL.
@@jarredspectre cool gj, thx. then tell them also that they shouldnt make complex bunkers and buildings. the first minute of entering the dark bunker was really immersive and cool, but then it just got boring and annoying trying to find the correct rooms. they should make it more linear, so you dont wander around and feel the waste of time. and it shouldnt be too long. more like many diffrent immersive small areas on the map you interact with. each with its unique setting and horror. and the bloodscreen effect when having low hp is too strong and annoying also. arena breakout infinite has good effects and sounds. hope this helps.
@@Cryotydedo yall say this just by the looks of the game? Ive seen this comparison so many times yet the only close thing related to either of two is evironmental setting
Really like that gunshot audio, can hear the supersonic crack and resonance change from shooting outside or inside.
Yes, the audio is really well done

I agree STALKER is the perfect setup for an extraction shooter, it's a shame Fear the Wolves didn't really go anywhere.
I like shooter games with supernatural element to it like this one.

I really like it, but the anomalys sound a bit diferent, they used to sound really scary.
Yeah I think they still sound pretty scary. It will be interesting to see what they are like at launch.
They sound like Halford ramping up those lyrics, I love it
I thought it was from Gamma Mod, but I was wrong.

There will be other creatures both AI and player controlled
This game is still very much in an Alpha state. Just imagine what they could accomplish with more than just 8 full time developers.
Lookin good. Super early build. But the skeleton is there
Yes
Everytime I see games like this I always wish for Multiplayer
BF1+ MW2 2009 + Delta Force (Streaks & Gunplay)
It has PVP
I hope they add weather effects, even though the map is mostly grey/washed out (which I don't mind) some rain would look great.
They are working on a bunch of different day times and weather. Dawn/Dusk, Full Day, 2 different Night times, Fog, Light Rain, Heavy Rain.
@@OZYMANDlUS That's really encouraging to hear. I hope this game blows up or at least gets a small dedicated community.
@@kestrel1917 I hope it does well enough on PC that they decide to port it to xbox series.
I’m hoping for a PVE only server eventually but this looks incredible been watching it for awhile
I believe you can have private pve servers post launch but it may be a bit boring without the tension of other players.
i was part of playtest yesterday , we stayed until 3am with onew of the dev afterward , yes there will be private servers
@@MsTebim fuck yes
9:40 GoddamThese skinny homeless people punch like Tyson. Only 2 swings and Chad Operator is dopey af.

Maybe theyre just placeholders for now I dont think the game is anything close to being finished
I think its smart if they actually used pre made assets.

Same here

Or is the game free, please answer🙏
Ask the devs. I dont know how it will be monitised.
@@jarredspectre Where did you download this game from?
Its not released yet. This footage is from internal playtests.
Coming to console?
The devs said yes if it sells well on PC
No PVP?
Theres plenty of pvp
Too much grey
It shouldnt always be all glowy and colorful
Its all part of setting the mood.
It's too dark. Everyone I know is just dying to play a game you can't see anything in......NOT!
There are going to have different maps. Next one is in a snowy environment. Talked about deserts as well.
complete copy of the game Breakout Arena
that's crazy thing to say considering it's been in development before Arena Breakout
literally the same genre lol
No but arena is a bad copy of tarkov
More like a clone of EFT and STALKER
