I may have missed it, but IMO Lawrence didn't apply the new indirect fire rules to Night Spinners, that is -1 to firers BS and +1 defenders armour save when attacking (of course when firing at a unit outside of LoS). "An Indirect Fire weapon is one that can target units that are not visible to the bearer (e.g. mortars, smart-missile systems, impaler cannons, etc.). If such a weapon targets a unit that is not visible (i.e. no models in a target unit are visible to the firing unit when you selected it as a target), then each time an attack is made with that weapon against that target this phase, worsen the Ballistic Skill characteristic of that attack by 1 and add 1 to any armour saving throws made against that attack".
He had line if sight so the barrage rules weren't in effect. That only applies when you're using the weapon to fire indirectly, if you can make line of sight at all it works normally.
sorry to sound like a smart*** , I usually mess up things like this each game but, heimlock is made of wraithbone, reduces damage received by 1 to a minimum of 1 (I think it took 2 wounds from a heavy bolter shot in 1st turn)
I think spider mentioned multiple times in game that "strands of fate is ones per phase" or something like that, but I'm pretty sure you can use multiple in the same phase, even on the same unit. (unlike the miracle dice) :D
I believe he meant that he had to use the or lose them every battle round. He definitely understood that he could burn them all in that first shooting phase

This is one of those games where i look at retributers and wonder if there was another option, they just need so much support and are priority target #1 in all games and they just fall over like a stiff breeze unless you hug terrain like you would hug your mothers. As somebody who wants to get into sisters i fear buying them knowing i will never get to play with them if they see Retributors in my list but alas.
@@chaoslordbeard there is always the castigator... :D i kid please dont torture your selfish yourself o.o;; i think for me though if i was to run retributors id run em with the dogmata/hosptialler for that extra bit of durability (dogmata with celestines Warlord trait and hyme) and slap em in cover for Armour of contempt+ cover and pray. Me personally ive been loveing paragon warsuits for there cost at least they can eat a bright lance nowadays. And they they can throw alot of shots (small shots but still alot of em) Ive been running 2 Heavy bolters and 1Multi melta in mine to keep em cheap. Then run an exorcist or 2 honestly dont know what the right number of exocists on a table should be but that range 48 and 2 cp strat is just to good to pass up i LOVED how you played repentia for awhile ive hated them cause they die to a stiff breeze but they hit like a hurricane but whos to say i just feel bad for retributor players but thats just me i dont hate them i just wish sisters had other options in a knight/ tank world specially with new choas and gaurd soon.

It was at around 16:25 when I realized... Warhammer 40k tabletop is just grownups playing with army guys. How many hours in a sandbox, on the stars, near the couch, everywhere did I play with little plastic army figurines when I was a kid! Now as an adult they look cooler and there's rules!
The hemlock wraithfighter has wraithbone form, which reduces incoming damage by 1. So the heavy bolter damage in sisters turn 1 should have been 1 damage, not 2.

Can one Psyker unit, who knows multiple psychic powers, allow to cast multiple psychic powers onto the same unit? So for example, is Eldrad Ulthran able to cast both Guide and Fortune onto the same Windriders Unit? I've read somewhere that a friendly unit cannot have more than one blessing/psychic power buff at a time. Which one is correct? Many thanks.
Hi guys, I wanted to find out how Ulthwe was allowed to roll 7? I know you can take Ulthew fate reader for an additional dice but how was it possible that he rolled a extra dice?
Hate to point it out as I was rooting for beard in this one because eldar...but when the canoness charged the wave serpent in the fight you mention the prayer for the 1 extra attack but pretty certain you failed that prayer.

You can use Strand of Fates on separate attacks - or rolls. There's no limit per battle round as long as it's different rolls.

Lawrence just for reference Jinx doesnt affect invul saves. It worse the Save characteristic ( sa 2+ to 3+ etc.), and invo saves are abilities.
