How to rebuild a Muncie PTO. On your truck or 18 wheeler. Gasket numbers in video

This is how to preform a simple reseal on a Muncie PTO. This unit was on a customers 18 speed Eaton transmission. We were doing a flywheel housing reseal and sense the pto had to come off to get the transmission out we went ahead and did the reseal. This is a really easy job to do. You can do this yourself very easy with minimal issues. Thank you for watching and hope this video helps someone with a project or with a career.

This as very informative and I appreciate mechanics like yourself taking the time out to teach and share the knowledge you've acquired. I just bought a 02 w900 and it came with a wet kit installed and my PTO has started to leak a lot. I ordered a cover and new gasket so that I could tear down, clean and reseal while it was off and I could still operate my truck. This video was spot on on giving me a first hand look at the process that ill be tackling. What parts cleaner did you use to clean up everything, it turned out great.thanks

We have a parts washing cabinet it’s like a dishwasher but for greasy parts. Glad you liked the vid and I hope it helps ya when you tear your pto apart

Believe it or not I was very interested in and listening and watching this man put this PTO take it apart and put it back together but the music was so loud I couldn't hear nothing he was saying maybe the editors or whoever is setting up these things can I mean it would have been fine with me not having music at all I know that supposedly makes a better video to some people but when you doing an instructional video not being able to hear the person instructing it's kind of defeating the purpose I appreciate the video immensely I really do cuz I really do need to know how to do this but I can't hear him

Yes sir we will keep that in mind this video was one of the first we did by ourselves. It’s definitely loud I hope you can mabe turn on the subtitles to hear what I’m saying we will definitely keep this in mind in the future. Thank you for the feedback 👍
