Facts 😂 In my case tho I'm 22 And I would gladly get into a relationship with a 31 year old mature man than any of the male options I have closer to my age Fr, usually in this age it's hard to find a boyfriend who won't hurt you that bad. Who won't cheat on you and tell you lies and does not see you only as a sex*al toy to play with every now and then. The single younger men ik, every 5 minutes flirt with a different woman next to them. And even the ones who already have a girlfriend, even the ones who got married, do the same as soon as their partner turns away. I've got plenty of compromised men try to flirt with me and seduce me into something else, even forcibly kissing me out of anger after I refused to have anything with him. I speak from my own experience. I hope I'm just not meeting the best people tho. Anyways, I would rather trust a mature man than a younger promiscuous "Don Juan" (I'm sorry for the younger men who are not promiscuous and whom sadly I never had the opportunity to meet. I'm sure you are great) She's probably wasting her chance Or not No one can never tell for sure
@@BlissetEris cliché is making assumptions about total strangers Cliché and immature You know nothing about my experience/life to be blaming me for anything You only write with the intent to offend Have you read without malicious intent, you would clearly see that I did not even mention falling for the liars and cheaters I referred to But I see. You're the kinda person who blames the woman for every bad relationship they had without even knowing what happened. That's the conundrum of cliché
@@JessyingAround Not an assumption if you just gave information on which I based my comment. Also, the joke went over your head, ... ffs, I wrote "nice guys". You wrote about "any guy of your age" about which 99,99999% are strangers to you.
he actually didn't mean to offend her when he called her fat. It's actually sometimes used endearingly. many people in poor countries admire fat people because it signifies abundance. It took me a while to get used to people calling me fat, I didn't realize they were saying it as a compliment! (for context I'm 5'5 and 58 kgs so, pretty average)
yeah that was my point, they say I've gotten fat as if It was something I should be aspiring to, even though my weight is super average. @@zoekaley1312 you are beautiful no matter what you weigh, fuck a scale.
You have a point there, when i went to Guatemala everyone also called me fat even though i wasnt ( at that time i was 5'5" 155lbs above average i guess) til i meet my grandparent. My grandparents said they were happy i was fat/big. Later on when we were eating i heard my grandpa say in their native language (mam) i looked so healthy and they were proud that my parents had raised a strong healthy son. Thats when i came to conclusion that it was a compliment. Being raised in United states were its mostly used as an insult made it kind of hard to get used to being called that
Besides, idk how it works on other countries, but in Brazil, fat is just a characteristic, not a way to insult, but it really depends on the way of the person who is speaking, in that case, the man seemed like it meant no bad. (Sorry about my poor english)
In Nigeria calling someone fat isn't so much of a bad thing and in Nigeria a couple putting their hands on each other is NOT OK but in America it's just a casually hitting each other lightly is ok especially for women.
I noticed that about the “fat” word. I think Africans use it more as a statement of fact than a direct insult. Like, she’s fat and needs big clothes for fat people, do you have any? She takes it personally but really he’s just asking what’s available in a good size for her, not being judgmental at all. In a way it’s kinda sweet.
@@24mymelody yeah there’s a big difference. African sees it as just weight, where Americans will see it as an insult. I’m african and when my family calls me fat I get insulted but I know they’re just simply pointing facts. Truth hurts🥲🤷🏻♀️

Uh, no? My mom couldn't speak english when she met my stepdad and he didn't know how to speak our language neither. They are learning each other's language, they're a very happy MARRIED couple even though my mom is not fluent in English. It's the same thing as saying two people can't be together just because one of them can't talk... the thing is Paul was stupid and didn't even try learning portuguese, when Karine actually learned a lot when they moved to the United States. That's a very close minded opinion you have there
@@user-tq6fx7tl7e I'm not saying that it's for sure the relationship is gonna work. It's a relationship after all, and the fact they don't speak the same language increases the chance of it not working. However it's a relationship and just like any other the language is just another detail. The thing is OP said two people who can't speak the same language shouldn't be together when really you can make it work. If you and your partner are mature and want it to work then language is just a small detail
For those wondering, my family is West African and while we’re not all the same, the ‘fat’ comment is something that I have noticed with my fam. It’s not used as a negative insult the way it is here - in a lot of communities (especially poorer ones) being fat is a sign of being wealthy so it’s fine. Otherwise (in major cities etc) people may comment just in the same way you would about someone’s hair. You cut you hair? You gained some weight? Not meant to make the other person feel bad, but just as a comment on something that has changed. It’s always really important to remember that different cultures can be drastically different and something may seem like an insult when it isn’t!

@Laura Ukoro I didn't imply all Africans are dumb. Way to go for generalizing. @@theddd15 Are you talking about ME? Are you for real or are you being a troll? Cause if you ARE talking to me then read my comment again. The person who replied unconsciously generalized and projected it to me. Africa is a big ass continent and the man could have come from anywhere in the world if we didn't know where he was from. So waving the racist flag makes no sense. Dude was a foreigner and not from America so who knows if he actually understands what Trump stands for. Maybe he has heard of Trump who knows. NOT everyone pays attention to politics even moreso from a different country then they are from. So boo fucking hoo. If people want to be sensitive and read something that's not there then whatever.
The woman says she’s fat then gets offended when he translates it for the local and says she’s fat? That woman is messed up sensitive. If you’re fat you’re fat, you can’t pretend you’re not

I grew up the only skinny one (by some genetic or personal choices fluke) in a family of morbidly obese people. My mother had to have surgery and my 26 year old sister will need to have it soon too, because she's already bigger than my mother ever was. They make fat jokes all the time, but if I laugh I'm suddenly a monster. If I get worried that I've put on a stone, I get laughed at. If I were to even think of laughing at them putting on a stone, it'd be armageddon. With obesity it's often "One rule for me and one for thee".

It can definitely happen & I think it's romantic to have such a connection with someone despite language barriers. My French teacher talked about his relatives visiting him here (America) from Paris. His niece spoke very little English but ended up hitting it off very well with a young man in the neighborhood and spent a loot of time with him while they were there. When they went back to Paris, he visited her there. One thing led to another and eventually they ended up getting married.
I felt so bad for Michael. He seemed really nice and genuine and she was so overly insecure. She made him feel bad for just following a bunch of girls on Instagram. I’ve never seen a woman of her age be so insecure.
@@poisonizy1496 it's fine to follow the opposite gender tbh, saying that just shows that you don't trust your partner or are easily jealous. As long as they aren't dming any of the opposite gender or texting them on other apps it is fine.

I love that Paul is walking around in a bulletproof vest
Paul, a 34 year old, marrying a 21 year old and expecting her to act like a mature adult and have mature communication is beyond me.
I guess people get mature by 18
Facts 😂
In my case tho I'm 22
And I would gladly get into a relationship with a 31 year old mature man than any of the male options I have closer to my age
Fr, usually in this age it's hard to find a boyfriend who won't hurt you that bad.
I'm sure you are great)
She's probably wasting her chance
Or not
No one can never tell for sure

"can you explain to her" "i speak english.." omg a queen
he actually didn't mean to offend her when he called her fat. It's actually sometimes used endearingly. many people in poor countries admire fat people because it signifies abundance. It took me a while to get used to people calling me fat, I didn't realize they were saying it as a compliment! (for context I'm 5'5 and 58 kgs so, pretty average)
Girl, you’re so not fat haha. I wish I weighed that.
yeah that was my point, they say I've gotten fat as if It was something I should be aspiring to, even though my weight is super average. @@zoekaley1312 you are beautiful no matter what you weigh, fuck a scale.
@@tany2191 easy for u to say :(
You have a point there, when i went to Guatemala everyone also called me fat even though i wasnt ( at that time i was 5'5" 155lbs above average i guess) til i meet my grandparent.
"Im fat really?"

In Nigeria calling someone fat isn't so much of a bad thing and in Nigeria a couple putting their hands on each other is NOT OK but in America it's just a casually hitting each other lightly is ok especially for women.
As long as it’s a light playful slap on a friends arm it’s fine by a slap in the face is a no 😭
His english isnt that good either..

I didn’t like it when she slapped him, I get that she was upset but little things like small slaps turn into punches,I think if the roles were reversed and he slapped her it would have been a lot more uncomfy.don’t slap your s/o plz
Edit:I know it was a playful slap I said that in the og comment but like others are saying if this is how she acts on camera she probably treats him worse in private.yes it’s not full on domestic abuse but I’m trying to say it’s a warning sign that was her slapping him when she was slightly angry imagine how she would act if she were furious and there weren’t any cameras

I call myself/ friends fat all the time, it's not meant as an insult. We just know we're thicker girls, we like to eat and I do so in jest.
