- The massive beginning of inFamous 2. I have to admit, I'm not used to the PS3 controller (apologies for the early death) so it took a bit of time to get a rhythm of any kind. This is mainly the first battle, cut scenes, and showing a bit of the power menu and a quick glance at the Reaper Costume. It's a shame you can't have a weapon skin and a different costume on at the same time.

The old voice made Cole sound more gravely, tougher. The new one makes him a bit more relateable, there's realism to him, he's more like a person than a gritty, all-powerful superhero. Personally, I like the new one better, I could connect more.
I grew to like New Cole, Old Cole sounded like a bum who needed a cough drop

I agree. The new voice is definitely more relateable, and that's mostly due to the voice actor being better. Cole's emotions were better portrayed making him seem like someone you could meet just walking down the street.

I like both, but yes, I think this is more unique for the character. It would be cool imo if his voice became more dead and gravly as you become infamous, essentially sounding more like the original.

This is truly my favorite game of all time... It is so epic. My favorite moment from the opening is when cole gets up after the statue from archer square comes crashing down, and he turns around and looks up at the beast- the music and his face make that moment truly epic to me!
I know this comment is 10 years old, but I still wanna say, I absolutely agree! Its so dramatic, this is definitely one of my favorite games of all time!

Greatest game ever created.
I didn't like the different Cole voice at first - but at the end I found it much more suiting to Cole, because it had more charachter. Still, both games are two incredibly fantastic games! BTW: Can you imagine if they kept "Cole" from the first trailer??!

Cole is confirmed to be able to drink warm water in the beginning of the first game. Perhaps he can deal with purified water. Fountains in the first game were probably very dirty.

I honestly wish Cole had beaten the beast back in inFamous1 but I guess if he had, not only would it drain the need for a sequel but it would unnecessarily elongate the game as well.

@@sleazy_voiceovers Because Kessler is totally different from this Cole we see here. Kessler is basically a version of Cole who never went though the blast and had a normal life, like marrying Trish. Since Kessler never went though the blast, his powers developed at a way later time than Cole's. Kessler with his new powers could've stopped The Beast but he instead fled with his family, but it was too late, The Beast killed everyone. Using his powers, Kessler goes back in time early before the Beast's arrival, gains control of the First Sons to accelerate the Ray Sphere's development and making sure Cole opens the Ray Sphere. Cole and the rest of Empire City succumbs to the blast, with Cole dead center, survives and has super powers. Speaking of powers, you may be asking "How did Kessler gain the ability to travel back in time?" It could be the fact that the older the Conduit, the more powerful they are, we see this with Alden and Augustine. For Kessler's case, it could be that his old age and his technological advantages thanks to The First Son's helped him develop powers other than Electro telekinesis like Cole.
TLDR: Kessler and Cole are two different people, Kessler IS Cole but he's a different version of Cole so he can coexist with Cole without a paradox happening.

This voice fits Cole better than the grungey, dark, Batman voice he had before in my opinion.
You can you a PS4 controller in your PS3. Just plug it in using the charging cord and don't turn the controller on. As long as it's plugged in, it;ll function as if it's the standard controller.
Im kinda pissed because i tried so hard to save empire city in part one so it can get destroyed in part 2

I honestly don't think they needed an RFI to take down the beast.....if Cole can do all that in the start of the game then he should be able to take the beast down himself...he would have still been alive then :(
Yeah but the beast can repair itself from basically anything even being atomised. No matter how much damage Cole can do to the beast it would just heal from it. They needed the RFI to drain the beast's powers so they could kill it as otherwise they couldn't
Ciaran Campton yea but what about how nix used the RFI to attack the beast or maybe the beast could worked with Cole to find a cure i know it’s lore breaking but maybe you never know and hope theirs a remaster on infamous 1 and 2 for ps5

@TheKnightofcaos yeah -- but infamous 1 was more of a scout and a detector device, like a bomb sniffing dog -- to protect the beginning of the cape of the true savior la VEDEO GAME -- vector maps like a crystal, some vaccums make a bad crystal pattern, COLE from infamous 2 is different from every other "embodied" figure from video game. in order to speak to the video game characters, COLE has been sent to them, and he has the PERFECT TRUE map plan of the crystal, to lead and orginize all game--
