love the stair case, but wonder why the steps couldn't be on a hinge and swing down when needed, and stowed when not needed. I'm looking for a hard-shelled pop top, like the Redtail Overland, which is extremely expensive.
I've watched full conversions, detailed tours, videos about boat living, van-living, bus builds for eight and their dog and cats, and custom campers in every shape under the sun. Some big, some small. I've never seen a staircase in a van before now! It looks fantastic. That whole rooftop space strikes me as something very handy for a stargazer.
I am blown away! Honestly: been watching van tours for almost 8 yrs now - even bought my own VW LT35 from 1986 to renovate and fulltime living - but never seen a staircase before! Well, we all knew the Hymer was going to inspire some builders to use the staircase-to-the-top configuration. This looks more cost effective, and I hope I see more like this. Honestly, all pop tops should use stairs.
This van is really nice. I love this sink and the shower and sleeping area. The stairs are beautiful and crafty. The 'loft' needed to be more though for all the hype around it.

You've given me an idea: I'm going to install a seat lift in the van, which is right next to the bed and you can use it to go up onto the roof, so that I, as a wheelchair user, can also enjoy the great view. There are no nice vans for wheelchair users, have you ever designed for a wheelchair user? That would be a really great idea, they could explore the world.❤❤❤
Is the ladder in the back removable? If I had to stealth camp in a parking lot or in the city or even on public beaches, i would not want any strangers having access to the ostensibly open roof (if I need to make use of said roof).
That is one sexy af van and those stairs, yes please! I had a look on the site and it's not there. Has the competition been and gone already? p.s gotta a lot of love for TH-camrs with a great sense of humour, makes all the difference especially in this crazy time we're living in right now.

No way would I SLEEP up there in that pop top, let alone put kids of ANY age up there to sleep, only to have them turn over in the night and fall off the van. It's bad enough when they fall out of a regular bed. Nope, that complete setup on top is a no go for me. But the rest of it was totally rad. Loved the paint color and the asthetics. Would have done a drop down bed over the dining area to gain SAFE sleeping space for everyone.

What I don't like is that there's no passage between the cab and the rest of the van. Personally, I'm a bit concerned about that! What about the insulation on the pop top? Otherwise, it's a superb Van! Great job!
The hymer was the 1st van to do stairs and the hymer van has a super classy inventive interior and roof top bed accessed by the stairs,no disrespect but the hymer van leaves this in its dust in every respect🙂
Not having a pass through from the front cabin leads to great placement for the bathroom. This is the least compromise floorplan I’ve seen so far in a Sprinter

It is a loss, for the pretty advanced project was full of genius and inventions, among those a staircase, and a rooftop not unlike yours. The bathroom solution was brilliant, and left space for a home office too. I keep searching@@VannyCampers I think it was a Franco-German cooperation?

Like the lower level van layout. Personally, The upstairs set up is a complete waste of space. When you're up there you have the access open to all critters so its not really a sleeping area. Just a shame that all the goodwork on the lower floor could have been enhanced instead of wasting it on the useless set up just to lay on roof deck
Its a ziptop pop top, you dont get no bugs inside, slept in one hundreds of times, the only issue was in colder climates, i was in one at -22c and i can say it definitely got a bit cold
le mec il est surement concessionnaire ou pote avec un taulier, alors normal, il fait de la promo pour négocier au max un tarif abordable, passe que pour se payer ce genre de bouze faut avoir hérité d'un gros paquet de papier money, ou bien vivre en faisant la manche à la sortie des supérettes (le barbu il aurait un peu un air à ça... enfin la barbe ne fait pas le moine...) pour rembourser le gros prêt !! ou bien c'est un chômeur qui a été juste booké pour faire la pub, après il retourne à pire emploi.... à pied !

I love it! But I don’t want the roof tent, I want a fold out or whatever roof deck. Coffee or dinner on top would be sweet! ❤
Pop up tent, seems unsafe but I'm an older female, maybe good for teenage boy if secure on sides.

It would've been better if the roof was an actual roof was a retracting roof, or raised roof. But, the stairs idea is a good look for originality.
