I added a handcuff key right at the back where the label is, that way if handcuffed with my hands behind me might have a chance to escape unlawful detainment, also I added kevlar cordage, pre cut to length and overhand knots at each end to fit my feet into for melting thru zip ties. as well as all the other items more or less the same as yours. I love my WAZOO cache belt, I wear it every day.
I’ve had that belt for more then 4 years now I wear it everyday. I don’t have loads of stuff in it but I love the loops so I can tie stuff I don’t wanna lose. It is a great belt that really lasts.
I think this set up is ideal for everyday carry. I went with the hat version which limits what to carry. Have to think in terms of "flat" to fit things in. Your kits are well thought out and lack for nothing.
Finally got the XL Wazoo cache belt .. filled it with my own supplies... Victorinox SD keychain knife with scales removed... small razor knife.. small whistle.. mini button compass and a brunton wrist compass rotating bezel which can be used with maps ... One daily supply of my personal meds.... 4 aspirin 2 Benadryl 2 Imodium..2 Pepto ...mini flashlight .. six waterproof matches and striker... Mini Ferro rod.. water bag and 4 purification tabs .. plastic handcuff key... One large bandage folded up in a standard Band-Aid mini pack of antibiotic..25ft of#90 Paracord .. mini fishing kit with 30 ft of fish line...3X-$20 bills ..mini dog tag signal mirror .. piece of hacksaw blade in the buckle compartment ..
I bought a zipper pocket belt on Amazon for $9. In it? Ferro rod, silver coins, cash, wire, zip ties, a Gerber knife, Spectra line 30lb test & MRE matches & a needle. The whole kit (minus the cash & silver) cost less than the Wazoo belt. It’s a nice belt but there are options. Add the doodads in my walker plus my EDC tools and it adds up to a pretty decent compliment of gear
I think it is neat, but I EDC a large knife & pis&ol, so I need a more rigid belt. FANNY PACK! I bet if we adopted a more tacticool name like “cache pack”, it would be a thing.
Nice setup. I have something very similar although it isn't inside a Wazoo belt, just a zipped moneybelt I bought on the bay to which I added a cool ''Urban District'' buckle off another nylon normal belt which had given up the ghost. Like you it's a total last ditch kit, for in a worst case shtf/wrol scenario where I didn't even have my normal pocket EDC gear - knife, multitool, lighters, flashlight - because for example I'd been robbed, but still had my belt. Going to add a P38 can opener because I would have lost my multitool! Otherwise it's pretty similar. I was pondering about which knife would be best for a while and passed on the 58mm Victorinox because the blade is just too small, I looked at ceramic knives, SOG Micron, also some UK made flat old school penknives. But in the end I opted for the Ruike S11 (same as the Bokerplus Techtool mini but the handles are flatter). It has a much more capable blade with thicker blade stock, in Sandvik 12C27, G10 handles, strong backspring, I added a lanyard so it can be a 4 finger grip. Also I have stormproof matches in mine, as well as a firesteel.
I totally agree, really don’t know why wazoo hasn’t updated the belt…..I originally got mine from kickstarter as a startup, all of the other stuff is great…..but the belt itself needs an update as mentioned some zippered compartments would be great addition….
I have one of these. I like it but i find the edges are a bit rough and create hot spots when I move around. Also I’ve found I need to go with very flat items because clips (say for an Otter Box) don’t work on a lumpy belt.
I don't know, if you actually tried open some cans with that can opener you showed, but I couldn't, I wasn't able even to pin a hole into the can with that can opener.
For a "gray" man or low profile look then this is great. I have this belt/buckle and it does not work for me due to not stiff enough and buckle not gripping the slick nylon enough---it slips due to angle pressure and loosens when used as an edc belt to load bear for items in the pockets and defensive devices directly attached.
I don’t remember who but another channel wraps the fire tabs in AL foil which can be used to keep the fire tab and other fire tender off the wet ground. May be a better idea than the straw
Wow, you got that thing loaded! Has the velcro been holding up? It looks a bit weak and ragged in videos I've seen. Are you still using and enjoying this belt? Thanks!
Thanks! I use it literally everyday and it’s still going strong. I’ve been giving them out as gifts to family members. The value and versatility are incredible.
Bought one a year ago. Like the buckle. The belt sucks! And I don't know what the hell the yellow paracord loops are for. They look ridiculous! Would not recommend this belt, but like I said the buckle is very good!
The yellow loops are ties for things you don’t wanna drop. Like a compass or a knife. You can put it in your pocket with a leash. Then if it falls out it won’t hit the ground. Those loops are one of my favorite things.
I am looking for about your product place lace me a message. When I post this. I am looking for more information on this . Biking know how I can find some more information on where I can get one of the does it come with the stuff in it or not I'd like to know where I can find a couple of these and how much do they run hope you can get back to me and be safe and take care of yourself
It's a cache belt, pronounced "kash", and means hidden store. Cachet "kash-ay" is something else entirely and means prestige. Wearing your cache belt could bring you more cachet from your followers for example...blah blah blah. I'm sure you get it. Good bit of kit though. I may even have a go at making something like this. Your videos really appeal to the Boy Scout in me.

Great suggestions. I was actually thinking about doing the same with the handcuff key.
Wazoo makes amazing gear

“Cash” not “cashay”

Nice. Useful setup.
I like your “approach” to this more than others. You keep it all “ manageable “.

Nice setup, I have this also, however I don’t like the belt, I prefer a wider belt….wish wazoo would have made them wider….
A wider belt with multiple zippered openings would be amazing

I don’t usually carry anything clipped to my belt. If I did I’d probably have to rethink some of the gear.
Good video dude thanks

That hasn’t been my experience but good to know 👍🏼

The foil and straw are both good options.
Can the Ferro rod fit into the whistle? If it can, that'd save some space.
My wazoo belt stitching came undone in 6 months.
No lockpicks or cuff key?
Tweezers should stay...ticks and splinters will drive you nuts quickly...so I had to by more tweezers
I would add a wire saw.

@@DontForgetYourLunch35 Awesome! Thanks!
Спасибо за видео. 👍🇺🇦
One important situation that people over look is having a handcuff key in the bank. Never know when you might get kidnapped.
💪🤩
Have you ever gone through TSA with this?
Haha nope.

You can tuck them inside
Is this stiff enough for an edc pistol?
It’s decently stiff, it would probably depend on the weight of the setup.
Typically no…
No it is not. I have tried and does not work as pistol bearing belt.

Wazoo website seems to be sold out of a lot of their gear. The survival bracelet is long gone.
Supply chain hiccups have been frustrating
@@DontForgetYourLunch35 do you think they are closing up shop, or will they eventually restock?

Cache ("cash")
Cachet ("ca-shay")
$70 for that belt? Holy crap. I could buy some good gear with that money….
You definitely could. The belt is not for everyone.
some people take the walking dead way too seriously...
Wazoo means anus
Its pronounced like "CASH"
Yes thank you
I stopped watching as soon as he said “casha”.
