Thank you for making a BAKED banana pudding. My mom use to make it this way and I don’t eat it any other way. She couldn’t get it out of the stove hood before we were tearing into it. Kudos for a job well done.

That sounds like a great idea. I always wanted to try to make my own angel/pound cake to use instead of Nilla wafers but your idea sounds just as good. Let me know how it turns out!

I would have beat my egg whites and had the custard prepared before I cut up the bananas because I wouldn’t want them to turn brown. I would want to assemble immediately and bake.
Honestly you can try with the 7 eggs but use for the 7th egg don't separate the egg yolk so you'll have more liquid from the whole egg. It will just be less meringue but I think it should still work out.

Not a bad idea actually! I'm not going to lie but I just did it ahead of time cause I wanted to prepare ahead while I make everything else.

It definitely inspired it! I adjusted some of the ratios of sugar to my liking as I prefer a little bit less sweet.
