  • In our inaugural episode of CenterStat Unscripted ‪@centerstat‬ we review the multiple regression model, highlight the advantages and potential disadvantages and discuss why you might be motivated to move to the structural equation model (SEM). Advantages include a closer correspondence to theory, being able to assess omnibus model fit, testing mediation and moderation, and including latent factors to account for measurement error. We also argue about violating personal space and how much is TOO much white board pen sniffing.
