I recently had an event that I was nervous about going to, so my “emotional support project” sock knitting came with me. Thanks to knitting while I sat there, someone else in the group who was afraid to bring hers in ended up sending her husband out to her car to grab her project bag so we could sit and knit socks together. It was amazing!
Every year for the past 3 yrs I said I wanted to learn how to knit socks and every year it did not happen until I found your website and tutorials. I watched your tutorial for magic loop knitting socks...hitting the pause button many, many times and now I am comfortable knitting the vanilla socks. Also, I said I would never, never knit on 9" needles...watch your video and I now knit with 9" needles. Next is learning to knit with different colors for the cuff, heel and toe. Thank you for all the tutorials. They have helped me sooooooooooooo much.
Love how the Lump of Coal yarn is striping. So beautiful. Also love the names of the yarn from Homespun House. So clever. Just enjoy joining you on your journey to Christmas. I am getting very little done. Too much going on and so many videos to watch.
Although I am not big on the colors, love the name Grandma's Christmas Apron, Legacy Fibers is beautiful, oooo the polka dot gives me July 4th vibes, the penguin is so cute.

Funny, how I immediately recognized the Mall. I stop by there almost every year after going to The Wool Gathering,as I live in the southern part of Ohio, I take advantage of the opportunity while in the area.

I am one of those people too that have learned to knit socks from vanilla socks tutorial . I have made three pairs of socks now and on to my 4th pair for a friend's birthday. Watching the scenery on your drive reminded me so much of when I lived in the Midwest. Coming from New Hampshire, I was amazed at how flat it was compared to home. Some of our hills have hills here in New England, I swear! Looks like you had a nice family outing. I bet the pups and kitties were happy when y'all got home. You and Eric had lots of couch company-the good kind for sure! :)

They do, but they are on a paper that came with the advent. They don’t have each one labeled.
