After my brother passed away I really went downhill from alcohol to harder drugs. I spent a whole night at my friends house doing blow. I didn't live with my Dad but I went to visit him that night. He always adapts to my music taste but I wasn't expecting him to be listening to Amazarashi that night and I easily went to sleep with him knowing exactly what I was doing but still being there for me. They have their own type of genre. Some of their songs have music patterns resembling math rock, emo, but generally speaking, to my mind they can be attributed to what some "neofolk" or "world" music
I love how Amazarashi can be really dark sometimes, but they also can be really hopeful sometimes
