Well Im not sure if I would say the greatest mower ever made. Its hard to beat shaft driven cub cadet garden tractors. But old craftsman are good machines
@@jimmysgarage9068 ya kinda first time seeing the tractor on here i fixed up my murray sentnal was my first tractor and it runs but its way to old and my brother has that and he offerd me 30 for it bouht it all i need is a fuel filter witch ik where one is just need time and a battre for it thouht would be hard to fint it like the other one helpes when you know whta it is lol
YES. They dont make em like they used to. The old ones dont have all those aggravating safety switches when malfunction the mow will not start. Old ones do not have OHV for emissions which req yearly valve adj-old ones not. The old one use heavier metal which last longer. New ones use lots of fragile plastics. Old ones are simpler. Simple = reliable & longer lasting.
I’m picking up an older cub next week for 150 bucks. I can’t wait to get the 17 hp motor on it. 20 inch tires got a plow even with it along with the mower deck.

Yes sir! All my Craftsman stuff is USA made. I only buy the older tractors and tools (when I can find them). Much better quality.

Hi is it hydrostatic drive ?
Clutch drive - 6 speed.
Mine was 300 it goes 45mph i didnt have to put any work all the work already done
