used to follow duane ludwig through out his career even form his king of the cage days and thought he always had that potential to be great but just never got to show it. now he is pouring all his knowledge into his students and make some straight up game changing killers in the process. goodtimes.

I sparred with Duane years ago up in Worthington, I dominated him in the early rounds but his conditioning saved him from me towards the end. Hes a good guy though.

Duane Bang Ludwig has opened several MMA schools that supposedly teach BJJ, and MMA, but specialize in "Bang Muay Thai".. the schools are not ibjjf certified, and even the bjj instructors are not black belts in bjj?.. Duane Ludwig even has a belt system for "Bang Muay Thai".. a black belt would be considered an instructor.. you must commit to a whole year, and the classes are quite expensive.. Has anyone had experience with a Duane Ludwig affliated school?
Long Jawn there is one in my area and they are expensive but not too expensive they are like 350 a month for bjj and bang MT but for 350 you could train at somewhere like American top team

Well, if you connect with your counter jab, it will disrupt the other guy's cross. Also, that is why you lift your shoulder on your punches too. If your chin is tucked behind your shoulder, you won't get hit...

Guillermo Columbie That is why you're supposed to bring your jab hand back to guard or be ready to move your head. If your opponent was aiming for your chin, which is behind your shoulder and is down, your shoulder would "parry" the punch which will take its power away. These counters are the most basic counters to the jab in boxing. You see alot of boxers use them. There is a reason why coaches teach them. These are tried and true techniques.
