I have one and IMHO, Rhapsody is not for those technical heads Rhapsody is for those who want to enjoy music rather than those who want to listen to the iem.
I have a KZ AZ20 waiting for these to arrive from Linsoul. Since these aren't detail beasts, they seem well suited for a good BT adapter for some slammin' on-the-go goodness.
I have been using it daily and it's indeed very good, not a technical beast but it can still perform technical tracks very well though it is not very extended. The best genre that fits Rhapsody is classic instrumentals (surprise right?), RnB, Acoustic, pop, and a little bit of Jazz. It's only downfall is its cymbal crashes on modern rock and to an extent alternative rock, the cymbals seem to lose body and almost sounds like see through/hollow and sound it's all sparkle. But other than that it's a very good IEM.
Hello Brother Please rank 1,2,3,4,5 which iem you like most & give valid reasons why : ✅ KZ Castor Bass ✅ KZ D-Fi Switch ✅ KZ Vader ✅ CCA Duo ✅ CCA Rhapsody 1 = the best 5 = the worst
d-Fi 1 because it's really engaging with good balance and details, Vader is decently balanced but I would put it below Rhapsody because that is just so well tuned with a good smoothed Vshaped, duo castor are good but out of those the Castor bass is number 4 because it's simple fun sounding duo last because it's safe and okay
have this also as a replacement for kz zs10 pro x in pc gaming... it is big... i like using trn t-eartips on all my iems (medium size)... but this particular iem made my left ear (inner) somewhat sore on prolonged use... maybe attributing to it's size and particular design?... so i reverted back to using the stock medium tips... planning on getting trn t-eartips small size for comparison...
@@RobinJesba the Trio isn't out yet , I'm working on the review now. It's a triple dynamic driver configuration, and has amazing balance but I can't get into details yet.
@@jubilant_ear_reviewsIt's not entirely clear what you meant. ZAR has a fairly balanced signature for V. The comparison is interesting in terms of detail, depth and scene.
thank you for the review! and how this compare to s12 pro? which one has the wider soundstage? I have a blon03 and want an upgrade in the same warm signature, thanks
How does this iem compare to much more expensive iems such as the shuoer ej07m, xenns mangird tea 2 and also cheaper iems with single dynamic drivers such as the kinera celest wyvern pro's?
Thank you very much for your review! I can’t wait to get my Rhapsody, is there a big difference with the KZ Krila headphones, which also suit me very well? Like and subscribe buddy!
Allow me to answer this question: not just better but markedly better. First the bass, due to double DD, the bass is full, has texture and is layered. Krila’s bass, on the other hand is added to compliment the BA so you hear enough to know it’s there. Treble wise Rhapsody needs a long burn in or the BAs sound metallic at default settings which is 1111. After a few days the treble tones down but my preference is 1110 or 1100 or 1010. Even with all treble settings up Krila still sounds sharper most likely due to the fact that it’s BA is fixed at the nozzle. That said, Krila had a little more soundstage and detail while Rhapsody is more musical and, more importantly just like Polaris, FUN.
@@colddish Thank you for your detailed answer and I’ll take the liberty to ask you: I bought krila at the very beginning when they came out, my friends bought them later, they complain that the high frequencies hurt their ears, everything is fine in my copy, it may be that they have a different driver or be there another setting?
@@gavr7190 As the BA is situated very close to the nozzle it can sound hot at times. I suspect your friends may not have burn in their iems enough before listening. Also, a deeper insertion improves the bass. Changing of tips may help too. I mainly use AET07. Many like to call it KBear tips. The original is from Acoustune. KBear and Nicehck have the same tips but the version from BGVP fit my ears much better.
This is pure trash. I just bought it today and it so disappointing. The IEM volume is too low. I have the TFZ NO. 3 and TFZ LIVE 3, on those IEMs i cannot max out the volume but on these CCA Rhapsody, i maxed out the volume and i cannot still hear the music. So trash.

Yes definitely, I have mine on the AZ20
I have mine on the AZ09 Pro ($30)...they do sound great. The AZ20 should be even better, if source supports AptX Adaptive/AptX HD.
We have the same music preference except blues😅
Thank you for your wonderful review! I can't wait for mine to arrive! This especially value for money is a no-brainer.

Your pick between the CCA Rhapsody and the Simgot EM6L. Thanks
Simgot EM6L
@@jubilant_ear_reviews Thanks for the prompt response. This helps immensely.
@@iyervenki the Rhapsody is one of the best KZ products, but the details and technically abilities are superior on the Simgot
So which one is good for music & movies. Trio or Rhapsody?. Thank you
@@mr.fahrenheit8150 I think the Rhapsody would be the better choice.
@@jubilant_ear_reviews thank you👍👍👍
I have a kz zsx. Everything works. 3 years and 20 chifi iems later and the kz zsx is still my lowest ranked iem. Completely unmusical.
This one is one of the better ones put out in 2023
Great content, I just have a question, Would these be a nice pair for playing and monitor bass guitar? Or you would recommend anything else?
Yes I think they would work great for that also consider the new CCA Trio coming out soon
@@jubilant_ear_reviews May you please share where can I find the specs?
@@RobinJesba the Trio isn't out yet , I'm working on the review now. It's a triple dynamic driver configuration, and has amazing balance but I can't get into details yet.
what do you think about the cca piannist ?
I reviewed it a few months ago, it's a decent IEM but not on my KZ favorite list
This one is vs kz zar which one is better sound quality plz plz reply my preference is bass with smooth clear sound
Smooth clear , get the CCA Trio
hey man, I recently acquired Fosi DS2. I am curious on how the DS2 pairs with the Rhapsody. What do you think?
I tried it , it pairs well with both the DS1 and 2 but I think much better with the Hidizs s9 pro plus
How does it compare to the Castor Black?
This one is really excellent, I personally think it's better
Rhapsody is better if your budget is enough but the Castor(bass) performances nicely as well.
This or simgot ew200 or cca pla13 in terms of resolution, imaging and soundstage?
The ew is amazing, I think the Rhapsody is just as good but it's not as detailed or resolving, just more balanced and smooth
which cable and tips do you recommend bro?
I like the tripowin zonie and spin fit W1
Will it be an upgrade compared to KZ ZAR?
Totally, it way more rounded in signature

S12 is bright and more technical
how in single player games?? soundstage is wide?? thank you!!
Yes its wide and accurate
Why I felt the intro was like AI
Is it power hungry. Can it run on 3.5mm of fosi ds2?
I was using the S9 pro plus, it works fine on that
I have ikko OH10 as my daily driver how is rhapsody compared to it?
Slightly Less bassy , bass is good but not over powering
@@jubilant_ear_reviews thanks for the reply.

The Rhapsody is just plain and simple balanced and well tuned with smoothed details
I'm sure the others have their strengths and weaknesses
@@jubilant_ear_reviewsdoes it perform similarly to the em6l or aoshida e20?
