I have the soft pink. I really am pleasantly surprised. It “brightens” my skin, blurs and is smoothing. I like that it’s not as glowy as other similar products on the market. Maybe I’ve just been brainwashed by Chanel.😂 I have worn it on it’s own and under foundation. I thought about the coral, the next shade up, but I’m on the lighter end of light-medium skin color. It works. I do love it. Your hair is really beautiful today! But, then again. You always look terrific.😘❤️
Jan!!! Sheri here in comments says that she uses one shade up and the pink and she puts the pink more around her eyes a little bit and kind of uses them both as underpinnings before foundation or even alone. I think it’s a brilliant idea. would work for you too I’m sure

Everyone I’ve seen this on I love how it definitely “enhances” your complexion! I’ve seen it also used for just under the eyes to brighten the darkness there as well. I was wondering if it was similar to the CT flawless filter but I think it’s a bit more brightening because of that shade and the sheerness ❤
I LOVE it around the eyes. Yes, I think it was Michele who is using it primarily under the eyes. That's how I use my HFF. Exactly. Is it more brightening? Depends on the shade you have of the HFF but they are very similar. I Just like this shade in the Chanel so much.

This is lovely on you. I appreciate the texture comparisons. Some consider the no1 line to be less-than but I would disagree. I think it is lovely.
It’s honestly just my favorite. But I’m kind of a sucker for Chanel. And I know even within the Chanel ranks it’s less than but in my heart it’s more ha ha!

Oh this looks so pretty on you! I love Chanel complexion products, and her liquid lipsticks with the clear gloss on the end, are the best! For me, the pink would be too light. Think I’ll pick up the peach hue one, maybe the bronzy one. Have to see though.

Good morning Rebecca! Thanks for another great review, how does this Chanel Skin Enhancer and the Westman Atelier Liquid Super Loaded… compare to the Chantecaille Face Tints that came out, was it last year, other than the obvious differences? Thank you!!
Great question, Carolyne! I prefer this over all the ones you mentioned. I like this because it’s thinner than a Westman. And I like the WA product. I really do but it’s just gonna go to fast because it’s so thick. And I love the Chantecaille but I don’t like the fact that they’re in a tub And they’re a little bit too emulsifying. I think the Chanel is the perfect hybrid of all of them.
I have the 2 lightest shades and really like to put the coral shade all over and the pink around the under eye area.. to me it’s better than the Healthy Rose Cream that’s not available in the US .. at first I thought it was orange then it sheets out.. you look so pretty as always Rebecca!! I might just try this. If my face can look even half as glowy and fresh as yours, I’m in! I don’t like the CT (too metallic) or the Auric (beautiful but to thick for my combo/oily skin so I never use it except in the dead of winter). This could be the one! Oohhh it’s pretty and I actually do have a hole in my products this would fill!! I’m going to look at the colors right now!!

It is so much thinner than the other products you mentioned and I do like the shades very much. Without it being too metallic. I think this might really Fit in beautifully in your make up wardrobe!
I absolutely adore the finished look Rebecca. I know I've been disappointed in some of the latest Chanel releases but they do base products so nicely.

@@MsBNoodle dissipates and I expect it now so I forgive them because fragrance is such a part of who they are, if that makes sense. When some of my Tarte puts fragrance in, I feel they have no business doing it.

I have Chanel les beiges highlighting fluid in beige . And le blanc rosy drops.And i just purchased new Chanel les beiges rosy beige cream, that Chanel never released in US. I had to get from other country website ~80$ 😡 but i do love the cream. I wear by itself. And i love Chanel cream bronzer i got in M. looks just sunkissed no makeup visible. So i dont know if i need one, definitely probably not coral one ,since i have feeling its very similar to les beiges rosy beige. Maybe the pink one , but it does kind of reminds me of le blanc rosy drops, which i really love. . So i dont know yet🤪 Have a blessed day🙏💗

Your makeup looks beautiful today. Your hair too :) I love the Chanel 1 foundation but I threw it out because the packaging does not work for me. I absolutely have not patience for bad packaging. I will, however, buy it again if they change the pump dispenser. I was gifted this in the pink and coral but I have not tried them yet. I know the pump will work the first few times but then it will stop. 🤷🏼♀️. I’m just trying to decide if I will try it. Your video is making me lean towards trying it tomorrow. And as another comment on here says, you can put the pink around the eyes to brighten and then you can kind of use the more peachy shade on the rest of the face. I wonder if you could replace The pump with some of those little things they sell on Amazon. Do you know the ones I mean?

I had that same no. 1 foundation, did not work. It's Chanel's choice indeed, and still quite some other brands here in EU not leaving the fragrance out, and if Tom Ford would stop putting lavender oil in all foundations......they miss a whole market, but i have makeup enough, and super happy for you!!!!!! @@NotFitforPrintBeauty thanks so much dear Rebecca, asthma level quite high, but focus on what i CAN do, and rain is promissed before end of the afternoon, coming week a bit more cool, Wednesday and Thursday rain and wind promissed. I don't want to think, autumn will come, but enjoy extra the moments when i CAN do something more. And than autumn/winter will come, that is only focussing on pollution that people cause, like open fires in the evenings, scooters, etc, but i have tons of scarves to quickly put before my mouth and nose, autumn/winter has more opportunites, but still love spring/summer so much despite the pollen and the higher smog levels!!!! The sounds of the birds, and when seeing the bees working in the lavender plants in the garden, i love that so much, i love nature so much!!! what I ❤️ so much about the No1 de chanel foundation is how how luxe/skincare like it feels on application. does this enhancer/primer have a similar texture and application feel? cuz if so then i’m sold & will be picking up the pink shade :)
If you add in a bit more pearliness , yes, they have a very similar feel. They do.

Your makeup and hair are gorgeous! The product looks amazing on you. As for me, sadly, I'm not a fan of luminous products. I have combination skin. So, I have a time and half trying to find products that are matte, yet not drying. While I adore Chanel, this one might be a pass for me. However, I've used their Eyeliner Crayon Yeux for literally DECADES! I was using Antonym for a long while, but I always seem to gravitate back to Chanel. I also use their CC cream a lot. A one and done product for me since it has sun protection and tint. I'm not a fan of foundation either. I tend to not put too much on my face since it appears to be rebelling for never having acne in my teen years, lol.
Donna! Adult onset acne is so ridiculous and so prevalent. And I know how annoyed you must be. So I don’t blame you for staying away from things that can aggravate it. That being said, you are correct that Chanel has the most beautiful complexion products.
Hi Rebecca! As a primer does it help with longevity of the No1 Foundation, or is it just more for extra glow?
Just added glow, Emma. It helps with longevity in that it makes a bit more product on the face, if that makes sense, but not TRULY by its nature.

How does it compare to the By Terry CC serum or the Chantecaille Sheer Rose Glow Tint? Am intrigued as you look gorgeous in this!
I like it better than the By Terry. Lasts longer. No rose scent that doesn’t dissipate. More liquid than the Chantecaille and better delivery pump rather than pot. ❤️

Yes it is HOT here! Tis the season but, do you think this even does anything? After you cover it up with a med-full cov foundation and setting powder can you really even see it??

Ok. I take the question very seriously so I'll get technical for a moment and then answer it. I love both products. The WA is thicker, tougher to use continuously all over the face as it's pricier per usable ounce. I believe they have the same amount of product but as the WA is thicker, so it'll go quicker if used as a primer. The Chanel is more fluid, easier to use as a primer. The WA makes much more sense as a highlighter and the Chanel makes more sense as a primer. Overall? My vote goes to Chanel simply also because I prefer the brand.

How would you compare this to the chantecaille sheer glow rose face tint?
I actually prefer this. I love the Chantecaille product but I don’t like how cold it goes under the face and the way you have to apply it from the pot. I like the application to this and the feel of it on the face a little bit more
I’m very interested in Chanel foundations. Have you reviewed the les beiges fresh water tint vs the No 1 foundation. Chanel has so many options and tempted to try but not sure where to go. Hello Karen! I have tried them all and reviewed them all. I prefer this product to the Chantecaille but I love them both. And I prefer the Chanel number one foundation to the water tint but I love them both also.

Also, since you mentioned the VBB primer-the Chanel is cheaper (!)- would you recommend it over the VBB Original? (Not that I should be spending any more money on makeup …)
I absolutely recommend it over the Victoria Beckham beauty and that’s saying a lot. I’m a huge Victoria Beckham beauty fan. I have not tried the Rosie beige healthy glow. I would love to.

I dont think rosy beige is coming to US. I heard that is not so its frustrating, but i decided to get from other country. It cost me almost 80$ crazy, but its good. I was wondering too how this pink shade compare to the les beiges one🤔

Oops. Did I say by mistake I had a diff shade? I have the lightest one too! I absolutely love it too! I was worried it would be too dark or too pink but it’s lovely and so versatile! Even the scent doesn’t bother me.

How is this any different to all the other illuminating products that Chanel has that can be worn under foundation or alone? There are the golden and pink pearly drops, the Le Blanc Illimuninating Base and even the Les Beiges Cream that makes these claims too? Maybe, they're just pushing this out to be a matching pair for those who use the Chanel No.1 Foundation? Much to my surprise, I discovered that our Chanel website has finally turned into an online shopping experience!🎉🎆 I can now shop directly from Chanel. Although, to get those products that sell out faster, the two main retail stores here are the best bet. I've been wanting to try the Les Beiges Cream in Rosy Beige, so why should I choose this? This is the problem when there are so many options available. I'll most likely go for the Rosy Beige Cream which I preferred the texture and blurring properties of. They don't say whether you can mix the illuminator directly with the foundation, which would make it much more convenient, which I'm sure you will prefer. I have suffered terrible Classic Migraines since only 14yrs of age! Strong fragrance or completely other smells like a camp fire or just the smoke from Bushfires can also bring them on. Luckily, due to my bad sense of smell, I don't notice fragrance in beauty products. What a relief! Although, I truly feel for those who have a better sense of smell than myself and suffer terribly.
My dearest Rebecca, you have a habit when touching your face with your hands, to then bring them straight down and totally missing your chin. I totally understand using my hands to apply products and foundation, as I've always done this. No brushes nor blenders for me, just my hands. I constantly see you do this when using your hands on your face, even with blush, which is why you accidently bring some blush down with you and your poor forgotten chin is left out in the cold and white.😢 If you go back to when you've applied the illuminator, you'll see that you forgot your dear chin again. Someone has to stick up for it! It probably has a complex now from being left out. It's very hard to break a habit, yet for the sake of your dear chin - please try.

I think the only difference is it kind of completes the number 1 line. It’s also a lot different than the fluid that I’ve used before from the brand for so many years in so many shades. It’s just a little easier to work with, this newer version. And it just is very nice and blurry as a primer. But, you’re right, it does become about splitting hairs.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I thought it would probably be because of the No.1 Line that they added this. I actually like products like this that give the skin some glow, without appearing oily. I dreaded those horrible 'oily skin years' I went through and now finally done with. I just want something to wear alone that blurs my 'La Brea Pits of Pores' and soften the appearance of my 'Mariana Trench Lines'. I still feel that the cream texture will give the best results, especially as I don't wear foundation. My second Givenchy Eye Palette arrived today, 9.08. It's so beautiful!!! They all are, if you're after something that is a little more mature, yet still delivers on these gorgeous shades with specks of colour hidden inside. The mattes are rather subtle, but I like it that way. They're not meant to be high impact shadows, yet I'm quite proud of the looks I've created from these palettes. Most especially the first one I bought, which was 9.07, a L/E Holiday Eye Palette which only has one matte shade amongst nine shadows. The palette still works though and is so stunning on the eyes that it actually inspire me to get all the palettes! Cheri Voyage has a video up on her Channel showing this palette and wets it also. I was just holding a torch up to them and the shades simply knock my socks off. Not many bother with Givenchy, but I have created some killer looks from these palettes since collecting them all. You just need to know how to apply shadow correctly to create the style you're after. That one with the emerald green shade in it, is a special palette. It depends on what intensity you wish to take a look to, as to which palette you'll end up going for. That emerald green rocks it much better than the green shade in PML Mothership II Sublime, which has a black base. To think that I had never tried Givenchy Eye Shadows prior to the start of the year and now, I own the entire range of Eye Palettes except for the elusive/If ever made, 9.06. I even received a few samples of a 'soft beyond belief' Kabuki Brush in Rose Gold, a sample foundation and the most magical Rouge Interdit Vinyl in Shade 16, which looks like a murky deep grey colour , until it applies to the most beautiful light hue of a muted baby pink! It's amazing. It's so incredibly comfortable to wear, hydrating and lasts a very long time. I think they may have got their hooks into me with this one. I own nothing remotely like it, but it feels so good that I 'want some more, please'. Who was it who said they were cutting back on cosmetics this year? Oh, that's right, it was actually me!!! If this is what cutting back looks like, you should see me in full swing!💖

It's connected to a raffle of a lovely Queensland home, but I would have donated to them even if it wasn't. It's been five years I've been donating to them, I just found out. The money ends up going to medical research, which was an area I didn't have covered. They came onto my radar before any other extra causes, so they got to sign me up. They've got a AUD$50,000 draw tomorrow, so keep your fingers and toes crossed for me please! The next thing you'll know, I'll be on your doorstep saying g'day in person! I'm desperate to get to the US to visit by best friend in NJ and others as well that I've just got to see - wink, wink. I was telling the woman who had phoned me that my Nana used to always say that "it's those of us who have the least, that give the most". It's so true! In my personal experience anyway. Although, I still feel guilty when I buy something again that I don't need, purely want. I've got a pretty good reason for spoiling myself, I think so anyway. No-one else is going to do it, so it may as well be me!
I have donated to Greenpeace for decades, the World Wildlife Fund and MSF (Doctors Without Borders), whilst when I can manage it, I throw some money towards the Guide Dog Association when they hold a raffle. I feel it's a good balance but would love to be able to do more, especially physically. I know that's not possible, which only adds to my frustration. You know that I'm never going to be satisfied at my life's end. There's always something that I'm wishing I could do. I've been gifted endless talents, yet not capable of using them like I'd wish! I'm getting frustrated again. When the woman from the Foundation called, I literally had my debit card on my lap trying to buy my friend in NJ something from the ABH Sale going on now. Their darn computer was happy to send me the item, but I didn't need it coming here! Why do they make it so hard for me to buy something online and have it shipped to within the US? It's insane. Mind you, I used my restraint and did not order this item for myself which I could use Afterpay with and free shipping! There's a tad of will-power in this little body somewhere. I used the Givenchy Eye Palette in 9.08 this morning and it's another stunner! Lovely golden hues throughout - gorgeous! Next will be the 9.09 and then I need to get stuck into those Natasha Denona's. I even purchased her Eye Primer to get ready. I never dreamt of owning her large palettes, only her Midi's, yet Sephora's EOFY Sale changed all of that. The quality and pigment in her Purple Blue Palette and Metropolis just blows me away and I'm in love with the Triochrome Palette. That's going to be perfect to match up any multichromes or shimmers with. At least my artistic skills are still being put in use by make-up at least. I wish they would leave synthetic fragrance out of their No. 1 de Chanel line since that always irritates my skin. Their foundation was lovely on my skin - I just wish that I could have tolerated it.
Your point is accurate and real. I do not understand it myself. I know they are a perfume house so we've come to expect it but, on skin, it's a tough sell for a LOT of people!

You will be sorry you got me started, Carly. I feel that all mystery boxes, but Charlotte's in particular, are an excuse to clear warehouse shelves while marketing is used to make it special.
