I used 30g JeR Bbs instead of a Steelball on my PVC toy gun. Bbs most of the time explode on impact when it hits a hard surface. While steel ball bounce back especially if you're just 5-10mtrs away from the target.

So the best "stopping power" for hypotethical very short range self-defense with an airsoft pistol is with 0.43 bb's?
"yes", but airsoft is not good for self defense at all.
I have a slightly modified m24 (680fps) and not a pistol. A common pistol with 0.43g bb will give you poor fps.
@@airsoftvseverything but walther P99 DAO with 4,2 j ? And, you know details about penetration with bb .40 .43 . 45 .50 (the most powerful for penetration for 4 joules) ?
@@RazvanTheIceman 0.40g, 0.43g and 0.45g bbs are quite good for 4,2J, you can use them in that pistol you mentioned above. I dont know any details about 0.45g and 0.50g, (I never tried them) but there is not a big difference between 0.43 and 0.50g.
But sometimes, lighter bbs are better in penetration....just check my Airsoft vs Towel or Airsoft vs Jeans/Denim video

I have a Heckler and Koch g36c (plastic bbs) and use .20g ammo will that be able to go through a little more thicker metal like metal roofing
Heckler ans Koch from Umarex? If yes, thats a cheap 0,5Joule replica with plastic gearbox. Any upgrade would destroy the mechanism inside the gun.
If you have the G36c from another brand with a real V3 gearbox in it, you can upgrade it bit higher than 600fps/0,20g bb but that will cost you a lot of money.

what fps (shotgun) can penetrate through any clothing at point blank range or distance. Should the BB's be metal ? thank you.
Hi. Shotguns are usually around 300fps, so you need at least ~450fps to penetrate a bad quality T-shirt.
At distance, I don't know, but I will make a video about it with my 700fps airsoft gun.

The answer is no. Metal bb's travelling slower than plastic ones. Speed is important here....
(Example: my m24 can't penetrate a T-shirt with 0.90g steel bb, but with 0.30g, bb can penetrate 2 T-shirts)

If i have a 300-350 fps airsoft gun, (Co2), and i use 0.30 or 0.25, will it break a window ? or go through more stuff ?
You can not break or crack a newer window with any plastic bb... But you can definitely crack an old and thin window with it.

It highly depends on a lot of things, but in this video, 0,43g bb won the test.
By the way, this is an old video, result would be different now.
