So in this video we will discuss about the type of RAIL joint in Indian and nepali railway.I share you some basic concept about the Railway joint.
I show you practical how the Railway joint proper work.Through my video we will learn some basic information about it.
RAIL joint
=The member which is used to continuity of two RAIL and joint together in the temporary or permanent is know as RAIL joint.In the rail joint fishplate are used to joint two different RAIL which are fitted to nut and bolt connection.
The fishplate are placed together in the web of the flat footed rail and they are connected with very well.
The rail joint are generally various types but there 4 rail joint mostly used nowadays.they are temporary joint (they are including in fastening).
1.Supported RAIL joint
2.suspended RAIL joint
3.staggered RAIL joint
4.bridge rail joint
In Indian and nepali railway welded joint are mostly used but welded joint are in permanent rail joint.
In Indian and nepali railway Suspended and welded rail joint are used.
Because suspended joint has well strength and they can resist lateral and and horizontal force acting on the rail.
