My heart dropped when it was majority purple at the pour... And then the magic happened. This piece is absolutely breathtaking and well done you for having the artistic insight to add the black because it just came alive! Utterly striking and gorgeous. I would LOVE to see this on the wall or on display if you kept it or if you sold it could the owner show us??
Stunning....one of the best pours I have seen....it is 3 dimensional. It was the right choice to replace white with black. What a talent you are.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👌👌
Mesmerizing!! That is incredible! And the sweet comments you made about the FB Go Make Art community page is spot on! I feel like when I go there to check someone’s amazing painting, we are one big joyful, helpful, encouraging, happy family!
Sabrina Duncan I’m so glad you said that. I just kept thinking it looks like a *great* view down an endoscope...which, to me, is fascinating, but I hesitate to say that to artistic people, so knowing how you see it gives me a better metaphor, thank you!!!
Oh wow! The shades and colors what master piece. My wife and I were watching holding our breath both of us were wondering when would you stop...I was relieved when you added the black edge and small details, awesomely inspiring.
Wow! Absolutely beautiful! Just Flotrol and paint, no silicone? I'm so new, I have my supplies, just getting the nerve to do a "pour" (love the lingo, lol!). I'm New subscriber, just now! Thanks for your time and sharing this, Pam
It is beautiful, and it is great how you were able to add the black after the pour. It set the whole thing off just right. Thank you for all your instructions on your videos too. Thank you.
This is one of the most breathtaking paintings ever. I would buy it in a flash. I also loved the one prior to this in a similar vein. I am a sucker for magentas, pinks, reds, but the yellow popped out in a delightful way. I enjoyed these videos immensely. Thank you.
I am not sure if I even have the words to critique this pour. Amazing, fantastic, jaw dropping, cells to die for and color that makes me want to dance the happy dance. Just glorious, and did I mention gorgeous. Now I have something to strive for. Way to go Gina.
Wow Gina...without a doubt these are the most magnificent big bulging natural cells, with such character. I admire your concentration and patience as you move the canvas around so carefully. This is an outstanding achievement.
Gina, I am watching this for the 100th time, because I love it so much. Anyway, your talking about large pours. Well, I did a 3’x7’x2” pour, alone. On wood, framed out on the back, that I built. Anyway, started watching you from the beginning, I joined your group. And made my first post the other night. The pour I was talking about. Thank you for all you do, I love your work, I love you, I love your music, I wish you all the best💕
Gina DeLuca yes, well... with smaller canvases it's way easier to cover them all and get a good result. With big scale canvases, there's just much more room for mistakes, and the colors mix too much and get muddy very easily. I was also shocked by how much purple came out of there and still, u got so many colors besides the purple .. it really is just BEAUTIFUL.
Oh my God Gina this is an absolute masterpiece! It is now almost midnight here in the Netherlands but I thinks I have to give this a try now. You are such an inspiration! Elvira
Soooooo different! This just begs the eye to travel and explore. The cells are some of the most interesting I’ve ever seen with their coloration and form! Applause dear girl, applause!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
You’re killing me with these awesome pours! Those edges and that stairway......ugh, too freakin cool! Maybe someday you’ll get your gradient background....lol. Thank you for sharing 💕💕
I LOVE this! I’m new to pouring. I have a few questions. You talk about your mixture being 10% Floetrol, 90% water. What’s the ratio of paint to this mixture? Approximately 1 to 1? Also, when you put your base coat down, is the white Gesso or just white paint with the mixture? Anyone who can answer these questions I will appreciate. Thank you!
Bryin Smoot the Floetrol & water is an individual choice. I haven't tried it myself, but I do add both Floetrol & water to my paints. I'm relatively new too(within 6mo), but you'll get the hang of it. The base coat is painted whatever color you choose and should be a bit thinner than the paint. The ratios depend upon the paints you're using, as well as what you choose for a pouring medium. Crafting paints are 1:1, and tube paints are 2:1/3:1 depending upon their pigment & how thick they are. White Gesso is used to prep a canvas that's to be reused, a surface other than canvas, etc...as a rule your canvas will come pre gessoed. I hope I was able to help you. These are things I wish someone had taken the time to share with me in the beginning. Lol. Good luck! I just opened my group capped, Peace, Love, & Pour Art, maybe I will see you there
It was fabulous. Made it look even better after the corners were painted black. You really inspire me. Thank you once again for sharing your beautiful work. .
Gina, I have been following you along with another one who does beautiful work. I have done everything possible to make the large cells with this other woman's advice, using silicone I have come to the conclusion I am just not one of those people who will ever have those beautiful big cells that you all get. I have tried for months on end as I am not a quitter and she made it look so easy. You are both so talented I watch your videos over and over to be sure I hear every last word out of your mouths. I want so bad, to do art like you. Today I decided to try your way....although it looked way to beautiful to be that simple. I was in total shock to see the big cells I got from NOT using silicone and only Floetrol! Still not as beautiful as yours but 100times better than what I was getting before. You are so clear on what and how to use everything.....Thank you...I cant wait to do another and post it on Facebook along with all the other beauties!
Same here Beep Beep...been thinking, what the hell is wrong with me? Soon In will try it without the silicon as well. Hope your pours are getting better by now!! 👍 Lots of fun anyways!! 😊
Wow,wow, wow, incredible, I see a flower, a tripy tunnel and so much more. I love art that makes you see so many things. Fantastic. I value it at $8,999.
Before you toss those paint tubes, cut them open and get out the last of the paint. I've discovered that there is almost an ounce of paint that hides where you can't squeeze it out, but you can scoop it out! Love this one as much as the other one. And as I'm anti silicone, I do appreciate the cells as well. I'm going to have to go back to Floetrol, which I decided to step away from after all the clumps! My mix evidently wasn't as good as yours... but I'm learning.
I have a box of empty bottles waiting for me to do that. 😂 also, I use a piece of nylon stocking to strain my Floetrol. You can add to Floetrol bottle with rubber band or, what I do is add Floetrol to a smaller bottle with a flip cap and put stocking between cap and bottle. No more lumps!
Best I've found for getting the last of your paint out of the tube, are those toothpaste rollers that slip on to the end of your toothpaste tube. I get them from the dollar store....LOVE your painting, gorgeous
I came back to see this magnificent work of Yours again! Have You read the comments about Your Work? I think You’ve earned the title Queen of Acrylic Paint whatever You choose to do with it!
I can only see one thing wrong.... You need More videos! Lol 😂 your work is amazing! And love listening to you explain, very relaxing! This is just gorgeous!! 👍
Thank you! I'm working on it. I am varnishing a bunch of pieces at the moment, and putting them on my online store, but will be painting again very soon! I need to sell some paintings and make some room! 😂
Gina DeLuca totally hear you, I couldn't imagine trying to find time to do videos on top of my daily life and just the time it takes to finish all the paintings like you said! 🙏🙏
Haha. Some people just enjoy being negative. Yes I do sell my paintings! You can contact me through The Glassy Knoll on Facebook. Lots of pieces up on there.
this is a masterpiece! the best cell painting I ever see! I am from thailand, no floetrol aviable. I must work with the white latex glue - very cheap here... after the painting is dry, I apply resin on top for the shine.
I had to log on just to tell you what a freaking gorgeous painting that is! And thank you, thank you for stopping when you saw the magic and just honoring it... the adjustments you made were a most beautiful and unique solution. Thank you for sharing your talent.
God! Wow! So beautiful!!! Do you, or anyone else, know what I could use instead of Floetrol? I'm not sure I can find this in my country... Thanks for the inspiration and for the videos! Cheers!
Just times the size of the canvas (12x16 =192) plus extra for sides, so you would need approx. 200ml. of paint for a 12x16 canvas. That would be approx. 7 ozs (I would use 1 cup to make sure I had enough paint)
excuse me, but I just noticed that there are over 200 likes and 3 don't like !! just thought I'd let you know that THEY MUST BE GREEN WITH ENVY....HA HA HA. ..
Marta I doubt those 3 people hate her work. Most likely they have either little, or no knowledge about the element of art, what makes a painting a success or a failure. I also know that a great number of people are not able to feel a connection to abstract art. So they only admire work that they are able to recognize in in the outer world. Not the psyche.
What kind of sorcery is THIS? Let me get this straight- this is tube paint .. 1 part paint and 1part Floetrol.. in each color including the white background and that’s it? Any alcohol? Paint consistency a little thinner then “ warm honey”? Absolutely mind blowing .. no words! 😶
Straight floetrol, right? Not the floetrol/water mixture you used to thin down that one color. Do you also add water to the mix? I use 1 part paint to 2 parts floetrol, and I have to use water to thin the LB and AL tube paints.
I have Never Ever seen such Huge Cells!!! This is just 10% floetrol and water? WoW. Great Tutorial Thanks. No way can you paint over that :-) Please show us when dry.
Hi Gina, absolutely beautiful pour. Just to clarify, do you use 1 part paint to 2 parts floetrol and then thin this mixture down with the 90% 10% water floetrol mix? Or is it just the paint thinned with the water floetrol mix?
It sounds like she initially has the paint and floetrol 1 part paint to 2 parts floetrol, and then if it needs thinning, she uses a water mixture that is 10 % floetrol to the 90% water.
This popped up on my TH-cam list and I like it so much I had to watch. Now I am totally blown away with this pour and your talent, your very brave decision to add the black has really enhanced the overall effect. I have subscribed and judging by the comments, I am going to love watching your other videos. Xx
Holy patience batman. Huge respect to your patience level. I always mess mine up because I can go slow. lol Absolutely beautiful work girl. Very sexy piece
Thank you. Patience is crucial on the bigger paintings. My arm gets tired from pouring on some of them, but small movements create big effects once you stretch them out.
Thank you for sharing your process with us! I couldn't figure out how you were going to save the design and fill the corners, so it was great to see how you adapted and ended up adding the black.
That was such a beautiful pour! I was thinking as I saw you putting the black on the first corner that the dark purple would have looked better but after you got all the corners down and made the feathery looking streaks into it from the peripheral cells I was sold on the black. It looks amazing and I looooooove the feathery look you made on the edges. It looks like flagella or something kind of organic. I love it!!!
Unbelievable!!! This has to be my absolute favourite pour video ever. The colours and depth are stunning. I really liked it on the white :-) Thanks for the inspiration!
Love the card you have on Amazon so I picked them up. Love for Australia! Amazing video! love the art outcome. The info and insight is awesome!
Stunning....one of the best pours I have seen....it is 3 dimensional. It was the right choice to replace white with black. What a talent you are.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👌👌
This is my favorite. So very beautiful . Keep. up the beautiful work.
The black is so much better! I love all these colors together! ❤️
Thank you 🙏
WOW it looks like a psychedelic sunflower!! I love it!
This piece is stunning! I'm brand new at pouring... I'm so nervous. But your so inspiring. Thanks for sharing your talent with us !
STILL MY ALL-TIME FAVE VIDEO!!’ It just never gets old!
Mesmerizing!! That is incredible! And the sweet comments you made about the FB Go Make Art community page is spot on! I feel like when I go there to check someone’s amazing painting, we are one big joyful, helpful, encouraging, happy family!
Thank you!
This second piece is also amazing!! Almost gives the looks of a Dahlia Flower.
Sabrina Duncan I’m so glad you said that. I just kept thinking it looks like a *great* view down an endoscope...which, to me, is fascinating, but I hesitate to say that to artistic people, so knowing how you see it gives me a better metaphor, thank you!!!
That is stunning!!!! The cells are amazing and the black background was definitely the right choice for this one. Great job Gina
Wow! Good call on the change to black! I was screaming no! Then saw the end result. Love it!
Stunning! the black was a great addition.
When it was in the egg shape it looked like an embryo, beautiful cells & love the black, good job.
I love the black on the corners, it's just what I was thinking, it really pops now. It's beautiful...
And the magenta, I almost forgot about that beautiful magenta! It looks like a huge flower. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.
Oh wow! The shades and colors what master piece.
My wife and I were watching holding our breath both of us were wondering when would you stop...I was relieved when you added the black edge and small details, awesomely inspiring.
The black just makes it pop! Love it!
Wow! That black certainly set off those beautiful colors and cell activity. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you.
Beautiful.. The black really made it POP. Love your work
J'en ai déjà vu chez certains amateurs, mais ce tableau-ci est magnifique ! Bravo !
I do some of this type of painting of my own, but I want to buy this one!!! Love it!!
This is one of the most breathtaking paintings ever. I would buy it in a flash. I also loved the one prior to this in a similar vein. I am a sucker for magentas, pinks, reds, but the yellow popped out in a delightful way. I enjoyed these videos immensely. Thank you.
I only have one word for your work: impressive, amazing, daring, beautiful. ..Oh, that's more than one word. ..love it,love it, love it
Thank you!
Marta De La Torre , Agreed! Also, you should write greeting cards. 😀
I have no worlds, you have made a meraviglioso paint. You have a magic touch and a great strength. The canvas is very large. You are great!!.
I am not sure if I even have the words to critique this pour. Amazing, fantastic, jaw dropping, cells to die for and color that makes me want to dance the happy dance. Just glorious, and did I mention gorgeous. Now I have something to strive for. Way to go Gina.
Turned out striking, the black is a great balance for the busyness, you were absolutly right to leave it be.
Thank you 😊
Hey Gina, love your art and instructional videos. I'm new at this and am just wanting to ask you how do you achieve those giant cells?
Look at her paint recipes in her info
So beautiful, I love the colors combination and the cells.
Absolutely beautiful!
Wow Gina...without a doubt these are the most magnificent big bulging natural cells, with such character. I admire your concentration and patience as you move the canvas around so carefully. This is an outstanding achievement.
That is the most beautiful pour I’ve ever seen so far from anyone! ❤️
Thank you very much!
WOW!! The black made the colors just pop. Love your work!
Wow, never seen so many cells without silicone or some other cell maker, incredible
Gina, I am watching this for the 100th time, because I love it so much. Anyway, your talking about large pours. Well, I did a 3’x7’x2” pour, alone. On wood, framed out on the back, that I built. This is INSANELY GOOD!
To get such a defined result on a big scale canvas is almost impossible..
This is absolutely stunning
Thank you. Big canvases are a different animal, but I think I prefer them to smaller. I think there is more opportunity to control composition.
Gina DeLuca do u have an advice as for how to not get the colors too mixed up? Once they mix too much u don't get a lot of contrast
Excellent! I love the way you added the black and swiped parts of the colors into it to make it cohesive!
Thank you 🙏
Oh my God Gina this is an absolute masterpiece! It is now almost midnight here in the Netherlands but I thinks I have to give this a try now. You are such an inspiration! Elvira

Black - Yes
Kelcia Wheeler Gina You always get the alien in the middle which is so awesome and I love your work. So inspiring to watch you thank you for sharing .
I am utterly astounded!
this is a stunner...love the construct of the cells over each other, not side by side. nice job with the black...

Wowwwww...... wat is hij mooi geworden ...y like it😍
Incredible! New subscriber here!!!! This will definitely be my next pour, love love love the colors 😍
I think that is awesome! I love the black it just made it pop. Now I think this is my favorite one of yours.

Heather and Gina
You may want to consider buying a [ tube wringer] that gadget really squeezes out all paint.
Best I've found for getting the last of your paint out of the tube, are those toothpaste rollers that slip on to the end of your toothpaste tube. I get them from the dollar store....LOVE your painting, gorgeous
Stunning. Black edge is awesome.
WOW! How cool!
Just gorgeous Gina - I've watched u over time and this is excellent - no silicone, little torching - who knew?
That was amazing....I'm so glad u didn't move it anymore, and just added the black perfect finish.👌❤️
The black makes a nice touch! 👏👏👏
I came back to see this magnificent work of Yours again! Have You read the comments about Your Work? I think You’ve earned the title Queen of Acrylic Paint whatever You choose to do with it!
Really! Truly Amazing!!
Thank you so much!
The response has been overwhelming and wonderful! I feel blessed.
That is a masterpiece! The black was a great addition!
boy, it is amazing how these cells are looking so dimensional
LOVE IT! Black corners really make it!
Absolutely the prettiest!
Who are the 55 people who disliked this? It’s amazing, do you sell these?
Haha. Some people just enjoy being negative. Yes I do sell my paintings! You can contact me through The Glassy Knoll on Facebook. Lots of pieces up on there.
This is mesmerizing to watch. The finished painting is like a gorgeous, giant chrysanthemum.
YES!!! That's what I saw too!!
this is a masterpiece! the best cell painting I ever see! I am from thailand, no floetrol aviable. I must work with the white latex glue - very cheap here... after the painting is dry, I apply resin on top for the shine.
Im in langkawi, malaysia. I found Floetrol at the ace hardware in Kuala Lumpur! It took me a while to get it.
lucky you - no ace hardware shop in phuket. if I ask here in the shops about paint conditioner - they have no idea what I mean.....
May be you can buy this online?
My regards from the Netherlands, Europe.
No floetrol for me, either. Asking friends over in Brisbane to look...so far no joy😞. Seriously wondering about tamanu oil! 😜
Try Zinesser Latex Extender. I can't get Floetrol either.
Wow! Absolutely gorgeous!! Amazing cells!
Thank you 🙏
I officially think you should start every painting now with the statement, "I will be using this as a background..."
Yes! Great idea!
Terri Light no
Love it
Lovely corners. Can you tell us your recipe for your base coat? Thank you.
GORGEOUS!!! I am in awe of the large cells you were able to create!!!
Big juicy cells are right. Wow! I Love it!!!
Birth of a platypus! Amazing!!
Another SUPERB piece of arty lusciousness !
I had to log on just to tell you what a freaking gorgeous painting that is! And thank you, thank you for stopping when you saw the magic and just honoring it... the adjustments you made were a most beautiful and unique solution. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Thank you very much. ❤️
God! Wow! So beautiful!!! Do you, or anyone else, know what I could use instead of Floetrol? I'm not sure I can find this in my country... Thanks for the inspiration and for the videos! Cheers!
Zinsser Paint Extender is what I'm presently using...good luck
Try Amazon.
Who needs a torch when you get results like that Gina, thanks for another awesome creation!!
Where did you say I could find a chart that gives the amount of paint needed for coverage?
Just times the size of the canvas (12x16 =192) plus extra for sides, so you would need approx. 200ml. of paint for a 12x16 canvas. That would be approx. 7 ozs (I would use 1 cup to make sure I had enough paint)
Is there a general ratio though?
Ruth Ann Molyneaux chart for canvas coverage
There is a chart under announcements in the group Go Make Some Art! On Facebook.
Un believable. One day I hope that I get consistent paint. Thanks for your awesome videos
excuse me, but I just noticed that there are over 200 likes and 3 don't like !!
just thought I'd let you know that THEY MUST BE GREEN WITH ENVY....HA HA HA. ..
All my videos have them. Haters gonna hate. 🤷♀️
Marta
I doubt those 3 people hate her work. Most likely they have either little, or no knowledge about the element of art, what makes a painting a success or a failure. I also know that a great number of people are not able to feel a connection to abstract art. So they only admire work that they are able to recognize in in the outer world. Not the psyche.
Gina DeLuca if they are hating that means you're doing something right.
I'm fairly certain a couple subscribe. I'll upload and within a few minutes get a thumbs down. 😂
Gina DeLuca forget them.
Fantastic! I love all the useful tips you provided for cell formation without silicone.
What kind of sorcery is THIS? Let me get this straight- this is tube paint .. 1 part paint and 1part Floetrol.. in each color including the white background and that’s it? Any alcohol? Paint consistency a little thinner then “ warm honey”? Absolutely mind blowing .. no words! 😶

Hi Gina, in the description below the video you said 1paint : 2Floetral. But here you say the opposite. Which one would it be?
Alexis Lassman mom
Yes, I would love to know too. What is the actual recipe and paint brand? And how much water?
Dood! Fan-fing-tastic!! Just gorgeous!
I have Never Ever seen such Huge Cells!!! This is just 10% floetrol and water? WoW. Great Tutorial Thanks. No way can you paint over that :-) Please show us when dry.
1paint:2floetrol I use a mixture of water(90%) and floetrol (10%) which I add til I reach desired consistency.
Hi Gina, absolutely beautiful pour. Just to clarify, do you use 1 part paint to 2 parts floetrol and then thin this mixture down with the 90% 10% water floetrol mix? Or is it just the paint thinned with the water floetrol mix?
Thanks Gina. My next pour I will give it a go.
I am confused as well- first mix the 10% floetrol with 90% water, then add 2 parts that to one part paint?
It sounds like she initially has the paint and floetrol 1 part paint to 2 parts floetrol, and then if it needs thinning, she uses a water mixture that is 10 % floetrol to the 90% water.
This popped up on my TH-cam list and I like it so much I had to watch. That is breathtaking. So something else to try. I have been trying 24x24. So again, thanks
