I put VLAND clear sequential taillights on my 2017 GT premium convertible. VLAND taillights allow you to change the sequential pattern and even choose sequential yellow turn signal and yellow hazard sequential patterns. The quality of VLAND is OEM because they are wholesale purchased OEM European Mustang taillights modified with new electronics, but still use OEM LEDs. I love the way the clear Euro-style looks with my Grabber Blue paint on my GT.
Vland replicated OEM design and modified different type of PCB and manufacture their own LED they changed a lot of things to avoid law suit being a copy cat. So they not only use cheap boards and LED but they faked their Emark certification which is equivalent to DOT. They probably even sold the drawings of the copy that’s why you see more company’s out there who knows maybe form lighting is using all Vland components and paid Vland for badging FORM logo on the units. Only two of the 5 modes from Vland are allowed l from emark certification so why bother having many modes when not all are OK to operate on public roads. I really like the renegade units the inner lens is so accurate to the OEM making the lights diffuse properly as they should and if only they sold them with amber turn signals in a heart beat I’ll be exporting bulk orders for European and Australian market!

A rather nice simple install. Curious, how do you know when you need to disconnect the battery (to replace certain parts), versus when you don’t need to?
It’s never a bad idea to disconnect your battery when doing any thing electrical. There is no power going to these with the car off so you are pretty safe to unplug them.
Hell Cj Pony. I just looked at the 2015 Borla X pipe instalation. video 7yrs ago do I have the same size pipes o. my 2017 GT premium package headed to your web site
You just have to buy the euro spec ones. There’s a few brands on other websites but they’re a pain to install because of the wiring to the 3rd brake light.
We give these away with orders a few times a year. This was a sample, the giveaway one is a little larger and printed. Email me your address and I’ll send you one. Bill at cjponyparts dot com
@@Lightning-yr5wu we just started making those last year, e-mail me and I’ll send one out. They were free with orders on Veterans Day and Fourth of July.
18+ ain’t too bad, 15-17 is just such a cool look though a lot more mustang, plus the cobras literally used the 15-17 style lights so they are obviously superior
On My drivers side tail light the middle sequencer is not working when i use my turn signal . Anyone have any idea what may be wrong with it both outter lights still work just not the center one
Everything about the s550 besides the 15-17 taillights just doesnt resemble what a mustang should look like, regardless i think the 15-17 looks great, the 18+? Not so much
Great install! The original lights are awesome!
I love the 18+ style! Great video.

I couldnt get mine to do yellow. got the smoked ones.

i prefer the 18 up style more than the 15-17 myself. but im odd man out on a lot of things😂
im the same
i don’t think you understood the title
@@iiTheVelocity I'm talking about the tail lights.

I actually like the vertical 15s over the curved 18s I think they go betting with a 15-17 body lines
We offer smoked and clear in the 15-17 style as well so both styles are covered!
They both look cool. Get what u want.
This is exactly what i have been waiting for!

These on the website? I was looking for the smoked ones a few weeks ago and didn’t see them
Yes link in the description
I've been waiting for these, this is great.
I thought the turn signals are amber on the clear lenses
True euros are but require wiring modifications to work on USDM cars, many people prefer plug and play.
Will these work with the diode dynamics sequencer module to sequence when the four way flashers are on?
Always useful content. Thanks!
Are these legal in California? Thinking about getting a set.

I have a 2021 ecoboost.. these will fit right? I’m thinking about getting the clear ones..
Yes they will!
The 15-17, and GT350 taillights match the fins in the headlight, and the 18+ do, my personal opinion is that they should match.
My guess would be the GT350 still had the 15-17 taillights because they also still used the 15-17 headlights with the straight DRL's.
as one would expect
The original straight lights looks better and sexier.
Wondering what would look better if Smoked or Clear for a carbon grey mustang?
clear
What is the size of the screwdriver?
wish they had that amber turn signal, def would've copped if they did :/

I got some n wen I use the right turn signal the sequence will stop on second light any info on to y there 2 months old n last one won’t light up
Where can I get that CJ American flag decal?
I asked a few years ago for one and no reply, so get ready for a no reply. Not sure why, we are promoting them, not us.
@@Lightning-yr5wu yeah typical of them not to reply. Oh well their loss.

Yes they will
Anyone else prefer the 15-17
I dont think anyone in the right mind prefers anything about the 18+ gt besides the performance (gen 3 yote and 10 speed)

Do the curved style fit the 15-17 mustangs?
Yup. At the 1:00 mark he says they will fit ALL 15-22 cars.
Bummer they don’t have the European amber functionality
The ambers require wiring mods most people don’t want to do.
Diode dynamics makes boxes that change the functionality and indicator colors...
I have the amber ones and they look really cool, especially with the MP concepts reverse light. But yes you do have to do some wire splicing.
Form lighting and all the other vendors have these on sale for $449. Are or are you guys going to do the same or honor the sale prices ?
Yes we are putting them on sale as well and will honor the sale price though 5/31
@@cjponyparts awesome, thanks guys 🤘🏼
What made you go with these tail lights and not the Ford performance clear ones?
Price 💀
I like the smoked look of these, I had the clear on my black GT350 for awhile but was never a huge fan.

Check to make sure the plug is fully seated and none of the pins got pushed up.
I like the originals better. The 18+ looks like an eBay knockoff of a newer Lambo directional taillight lens
We have smoked and clear available in both styles!

How about screw the refresh. I hate the changes they made to the lights and the hood.
