Finally, I understood the wiring after watching your video clip. I am sure your instructional video is the best and easiest one on this subject. Thank you so much.

You are a genius, Joel! That was so much easier to follow, than a diagram!

In the uk we have different colours. On a 3 pin plug the colours are yellow and green which go to the top pin of a plug. Then we have blue wire and a brown wire. Brown wire goes to the right pin and the blue wire goes to the left pin on a plug It’s amazing the difference between uk electric and USA electric.

Doesn't Russia use 220v? U.S. uses 120v. I might be wrong, have been wrong a few times according to my wife.🤣

Seeking some advice. I have a set of outdoor lights that can be control at 4 locations in my home. I believe it is a 3-4-4-3 circuit. One day I noticed the lights on and when I attempted to turn off, they would not respond at any location. They will turn off if I stop the switch at what would be the half way point of the toggle switch. I " assume " one of the 4 switches has gone bad. Looking for a method to discover which one of the switches is bad. If you would consider this as the likely problem. Thanks for your feedback.

Where I live, you have to have a licensed electrician if you're doing any electrical work in your house. That goes for plumbing and practically every other home improvement. Permits are also required.

Please use the right terminology. Wire coming in at The beginning from the plug is considered a hot and neutral. The red and the black wire in between switches are considered travelers the white is a neutral. White and the black wire leaving the last switch would be considered a switch leg and a neutral. The light can be placed anyplace in between, at that point the one white would become a neutral and from the other side would become a switch leg and would have to be taped and marked as such.

Copy and paste, why don't do it while power go to the same box that go to the light
