There is another weird version of the monkey kicks which is seen often. It looks like a praying mantis. From clinch they place the knee joint on the shoulder of the opponent and as they athletes separates the foot will scrapes the back of the opponent and eventually touch the head; scoring a point. It's not a kick. And they keep allowing it. I'm not a fan of the ap chagi against the edge of the hogu either. The angle of impact is 90 degree wrong. It's just taking advantage of the electronic scoring system.
@@W1Taekwondo I re-read the rules yesterday. It says kicks to the back of the head from clinch is forbidden. So I guess it shouldn't occur in the upcoming fights. Same for the scorpion kick.
Maybe you didn't understand the spin kick rule. You don't get the penalty ONLY in the case that you score point. If you spin and fall without score, you get geomjam 😅
@W1 Taekwondo Ah ok! As you explain in the video seems that you can fall down after every spin kick without penalties (or at at least, I understud in this way) 😁 It's very strange to re-adapt to this new fighting concept
The sport has lost its flare. It's too much focus on points that make contact on the sensors. Go back to old school! No fighters are not fighters more like fencing!
Thank you!
My pleasure

@@AngeloPersonalTrainer yeah I think I forgot to mention the scoring honestly oops 😃
Exactly
If I lift my knee to block their attack and they kick my leg do they get a point?
No, only if they land on chest guard or head. But if it`s too obvious you get deduction, I would suggest to cancel like in the video for no penalty.
@@W1Taekwondo ok thank u
Is okay to spin? Btw I a white belter from PH HAHAH
Yes of course
