what a fantastic project and beautiful creation. I now make my own speedboat and I have been looking for an outboard motor for a while can you also make another outboard motor such as a yamaha or a mercury from an older version

Thanks so much for all your hard work putting all this together. I attempted to make my own outboard using onshape but my CAD skills are not as good as yours yet. Only problem I've had with your's so far is I cant get the motor to tighten up enough. It seems to me the hole for the bolt needs to be moved closer to the motor so it can close that gap more effectivley.

What boat did you mount the motor to?
Hi does a 3660 motor fit aswell please?
I don’t think it would fit but I could make a taller cowling to fit it, can you send me a link to the motor you want to use?
What did you use to get the leftover support out of where the motor sits
A set of picks and a small sharp flat head screwdriver. A small pair of needle nose pliers or cutters works too!
How do you machine those flat parts for the shafts?
A file or a rotary tool like a Dremel!
