I too miss the fact that Brandi is gone... I really would like to see a live drummer in the show. Sure ed is still one of the greatest guitar players of all time , It's just not the good old days
Brandi is on their new release Lotus Unfolding. I think the reason this was called Ozric Tentacles Electronic and not plain Ozric Tentacles is because it's just Ed and Silas with no one else present.

I'm brand new to O T, but I know they used to be a full band, is it just the two of them now then, with everything programmed?😲
Due to covid restrictions they've not been able to rehearse as a full band but they are playing as a full band later this year when they tour with Gong.
Yep, just two of them using the full band name and touring with Gong. Seen them recently and they had the audacity to headline over Gong who were brilliant as a full band. Sometimes the 2 musicians weren’t even playing their instrument relying on backing tracks!

These guys are playing the Equinox Festival. Thier music is good but I'd get bored after 2 or 3 trax.

Weres brandi.and a real drummer great show for 2.but brandi kills the bass everytime.and no synth can replace a decent drummer.come on guys.

@@marcomazzoli9172 I do humbly agree that I enjoy the full band better. Real drumming, Brandi and her fabulous Bass lines, jumping Jon champignon with his variety of flutes, a percussionist with the various things to strike and so on. There's no doubt that electronics cannot duplicate the warmth and resonance of real instruments. I'm hoping that they put together a band and tour some time soon.
@@marcomazzoli9172 in addition, I'm willing to bet that it's a heck of a lot easier for the three of them to setup and break down than it is for the whole band to go out in your with all of their equipment.
@@FrankPCarpi Yeah, great! much easier to rip off the publics money with a glorified Karaoke show at best and still use the band name. Shocking.
What a joke. Playing to a full backing track and charging the public good money. I recently watched them at Lavenham open air theatre and noticed sometimes both musicians weren't even doing anything! just relying on the backing track. Should have payed more attention to Gong, who should of headlined the show as they were brilliant and a full band. Don't waste your money people, can't believe they have the audacity to perform under the name. Karaoke at best!

@@lo5man 1 - they are a band .... 2. they were obviously spun as fuck this show and 3 i highy doubt silas and ed really want to play as just the 2 of them. def worth the money for some good live ozric
