It's crazy how this band has every style of music I love in one. Retro, synth, rock, jazz, video-game-like, classic rock, like, I'm gonna stop.
I think my favorite band
I'm now 47 and I first heard of the Ozrics back in 93-94. Can definitely say this is a timeless band. Can't think how many times I listened to Pungent Eflungent to get cool dreams as I slept while I was stoned.
Classic Ozrics. Can’t wait to hear the full album in a couple of days. Favourite band since first discovering them in 1990. The whole catalogue is just stunning and consistently amazing. ❤️

I saw U2 at The Sphere. It was amazing. OT could utilize that space for sure. I've also heard covo's about Tool being another band that would have neat visuals for that space if that ever happened.

It speaks another language, something bigger than ourselves. It awakens a primal, instinctive set of emotions. Emotions that extend beyond the feeling of happy or sad and more to the levels of our actual existence and the meaning of life. And yet it never scares you. It always just leaves you in awe of this amazing universe we find ourselves in

A friend asked me if I knew this band. I said no, but would check on TH-cam... This is the first track I heard. I love it! Even the visuals to go with it. I don't know why I haven't heard them all these years. This track puts me in mind of some Orbital or Underworld.

my best friend Torey turned me on to Ozric & other great groups back in the 90's in a proper multi large amp'ed Band / Music space (& low budget control room I built for him :) )
Since his passing several years ago, Listening to Ozric helps me focus on CAD work AND keeps my friend's memory alive.

Good to see new ozric stuff. Been a fan since 1994. Saw them at the whiskey in Hollywood. Years later in mpls.. i wish their music had some real analog synth like in the past and evolved past the bubbles and noises.

Niiice! Quite the classic Ozrics vibe, I was reminded quite a lot of the early tapes Tantric Obstacles, Sliding Gliding Worlds etc. with this song. Loved hearing real drums and bass too. Just pre-ordered the CD which should land Friday ❤
Strongly agree with this. Some great early Ozric vibes helped by the real drums and bass parts, especially the funky percussion.

I have loved their sonic tuneage ever since I was a dazed 17 year old confused teenager. I am now 47 years old. I have bought every album of theirs ever since. My eyes lit up and my heart went thumpety thump thump when I spotted this new album on YT... I have just ordered it without playing hardly any of it beforehand as I don't want to spoil it. Now I know that some people criticise them for concentrating too much on the synths and less on the more organic instruments these days. They may have a point, however, I still think they sound just as banging and beautiful as they always have. I have previously played their last album 'Space for the Earth' over and over. Ed and the gang can still produce spacey, majestic and starry tunes that take the listener to a different warm and fuzzy place. You don't even need to take drugs to appreciate them. Just close your eyes and open up your mind and let it take you up to an astral and sonic electronic plain. I cannot wait for the postie to plonk it through my letterbox.. 😊

I listened to Ozrics 30years ago whilst not entirely on the same plain as everyone else, and they were excellent. Good to see them back, although I can't enjoy with the same substance I did then.
Literally my favorite band of all-time. Superb creativity and musicianship that hasn't wavered over a period of decades now.
Looking forward to picking this up soon.
