July 1995 when the UST Singers won the "Choir of the World" Grand Prize at Llangollen International Music Eisteddfod in UK - it is the Oldest Existing Choral Competition in the World. Incidentally, that year was the same year that the late Luciano Pavarotti (Tenor) calebrated his homecoming to Llangollen where he first sang professionally as a chorister from his father's Men's Choir that competed in the same competition 50 years ago.

many american or foreign choirs been singing this piece, is it because the UST chorale sang this in a foreign country (which it seems they did, I suppose)?
