Listened to this for the first time in maybe six or seven years and started crying around 3:30. I'm a music major but I've been struggling to find the motivation to continue because I keep thinking I'm not invested enough to be a musician. Thanks for helping me find my passion again UST Singers.
First part is the Tranquility of the Forest or Piety to God, Second part consists of the Struggles and Wars, a stark contrast, and the ending is very much climactic.
Ang galing. kaka-iba. Pero parang hindi yata accurate yong English translation yong Title ng song, kasi sa Ilocano e "Ayug" means sound or specifically it means tune or melody , kaya siguro "Sounds From the North" is more like it.
Maybe siguro parang gumagawa ng scenery with the sounds. Gets ba? parang you're supposed to imagine what the north is like, looks like and feels like just by listening kaya "Scenes" yung naging translation ni Sir Fidel. But yun nga. Sounds. Hahaha. Char lang. :D
Direct translation would be Sound of North. I would agree it is the scenery that you get from the sounds. Uphill, downhill, just like the mountain ranges that dominates the northern part of the Philippines
Napakagaling! Anyone2024???
