For anyone watching this that has a 2016 Jetta Sport 1.8, remove the grille first. There are three more T25's behind the grille that attach to the bumper.
Thanks for posting I do body work for a living so this is todays project for me. I use a spray bottle with soapy water for taking apart and snapping together all snap in tabs.
Thank you for this video. I have a damage on front bumper reinforcement and I want to replace it. Should I be careful about anything ? Like is it connected with airbag sensor ?

Is there any difference with a facelift Jetta SEL with adaptive cruise control? The radar sensor is inside the VW emblem, I’m afraid I’ll screw something up or extra wiring that may need to be undone?
Thanks. The center of the bumper is tricky. I found u can just rip off the black piece with the VW.. Lol. and then get at each if the little clips with a butter knife or prying tool.

what is the size of the screws?
I have a 2014 Jetta SE. But I’m wondering if the newer models grilles would be compatable with the 2014 vehicle? The 2018 SE grille or a honeycomb GLI grille? Sorry I’m not a car guy so maybe I’m saying something that’s off.

Are all 2011 to 2018 Jetta front bumper covers interchangeable?
In 2015 there was a facelift, so I wouldn't try to put a 2015 bumper on a 2011, for example.

Hey I had a question regarding my Jetta. I own a 2016 Jetta S and need a new bumper cover. Someone is can sell me a 2012 Jetta GLI with the honeycomb grille. Will this be compatible on my Jetta and how would I find out for sure? Thanks!
Ecs tunning or amazon have a complete kit but im not sure if it's going to fit, I have 2017 Jetta s and I buy the 2016-2017 Jetta gli front bumper kit, the 2012-2015 gli bumper is suppose to fit but I'm not sure
