Very late, but just wanted to let you know I’ve been really enjoying your videos! From the vending to the ones where you’re buying. I appreciate how respectful and friendly you are. I think some sellers and buyers can really lean into the bluntness of a business and main purpose of just making profits. Will be looking forward to your future uploads!
I went to a card show recently, and I spent 45mins on a buyers table and i was judging all the guys cards (like what oyama does), and my gf pulled me to the side and told me dont be so mean
Its weird that a vendor wouldn't want the publicity and not want to be on camera. Especially considering everyone is on camera all the time so theres no downsides.

I been thinking about getting into selling Pokémon cards but I need to figure out how to get these cards at a decent price so I don’t have to be firm on market price. Hi Oyama! Love your videos, I’m wanting to get back into pokemon buying/selling, what apps do you use to price out cards? I know of Alt and thats about it haha
FYI just because it has a different language doesn't mean its fake Pokémon card. The Pokémon Company International prints English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish cards in the European Union or the United States. Portuguese cards are produced in Brazil. The text on the cards is translated to match the country of release, but the content is the same across all languages. Professional Pokémon collector knows this so before you try to throw a vendor shade for selling cards in different languages you don't understand or speak get educated first in the Pokémon world in every language before you claim its fake or throw shade at any vendor in general.
I really don't understand.. You are picking the most perfect items form vendors, but refuse to pay market value? Especially on english there is a lot of room on grading. Offering 80% on OC / whitening NM sure, but on perfect gradables? Thats just feels low. Buyers like this i really just shove off at conventions.
I don’t understand how you came to this conclusion. The literal first interaction is me trying to pay the vendor 100% of market for gradeables and they insist on a few bucks off. And I do it multiple times in the video?
The vendors in this video are absolutely LOADED, I've never seen booths or binders so stacked and I watch card show content a ton lol
Love the vids!
Wow making me tempted to drive all the way up to the Bay Area, the vendors up there are stacked!

basically go to lots of local shops and the shows and local card meet ups for trades and youll slowly become familiar with many of the vendors
Crazy when a vendor won’t budge 5 to 10 bucks to close a deal so tight insanity
