5,498 isn't too many, but it's a lot more than I thought it would be. It's kind of hard to make an entertaining TAS of this game, because the entertainment value of the game all comes down to how it's played in real time. No doubt there needs to be improvement.
Yep. The majority of these re-records were used in the 3rd and 4th quarter when the game was absolutely not allowing any shots to go in. They were hitting the top of the backboard almost no matter what.
Nice, very entertaining. Going for injuries was also my strategy when playing this game. Always hilarious when your friend is deciding which 20 injury guy to put back on the court. I usually played as Rockets or Spurs.

I will never understand why this is supposed to be the most popular game for the SNES. I did play it too, but it is not that fucking great of a game. It is a joke, most of all.
It never came out on NES, but you're right that most people preferred other ports that were closer to the arcade version. Other than that, it was like the only basketball game on home consoles that had a lot of the great NBA players at the time. A game doesn't have to be that great to be a big seller.
@@123TauruZ321 That guy especially. NBA Jam on SNES ranks #40 as the best selling, it's not even close to the most popular game and Tournament Edition, which is way better mechanic wise. NBA Jam was one of the best selling games on the Genesis, not the SNES, and that's only because it was closer to the arcade port and had music. It had way worse mechanics than T.E on SNES and horrible glitches. Either way this guy is an idiot lol. FF6, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario World, Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Mario Kart etc. were all so much more popular
