He joined missions over Germany and was lucky to come back, that was a 50/50
Curtis was my dad's boss in SAC☺
I was a SAC troop, Minuteman III missile system....we were the best.
I am Chinese, a million thanks to General LeMay.
LeMay assumed command of SAC as a Lieutenant General, he gained his fourth star in 1951
When senator Barry Goldwater asked Gen Curtis Lemay if he could see hangar 18 at Wright-Patterson AFB he cussed Barry out and told him to never mention the subject again. It was in regard to the Blue Room or operation Blue Book where the debris of unidentified objects were stored.
Senator Goldwater was also a Major General in the Air Force Reserve
He sure was gloating at the jfk autopsy.
Celebrating this evil monster is a sign of how far we've fallen as a society.
Something of a simplification. This 'evil' individual as you regard him may have caused a lot of Japanese deaths but without the likes of Le May many more Allied lives would certainly have been lost over a prolonged war, not to mention other Asian slave workers and POWs that were being lost in large numbers every month courtesy of Japanese occupation methods.
Is that a fact or your opinion?
@@russvoight1167 it's just like my opinion man. It's a good one though.
What do you base your opinion on that General LeMay was an evil monster?
@@russvoight1167 The bombing of Tokyo alone is enough. Unfortunately, that's just the surface layer of his crimes against humanity.
What was his role in Kennedy’s death. #fdude
