What a smooth trip up the coast. Great to see you guys out loving the water again. We had a quick change of weather just North of Georgetown, SC on the ICW. We were in blue skies just cruising along while all the sudden a giant wall of dark clouds, that had been hidden from view by the trees along the west bank, came over head and we went from sunshine to almost darkness within seconds of seeing them. Then the rain came down so hard, we could not see the trees on shore only 50 feet away. We were in a 24' Keywest with no radar to see what may be coming out of the white wall of rain all around us. This lasted 30 minutes or more then it left us in blue skies and sunshine. When boating, you have to take the good with the bad. Luckily the good has always been worth going through the bad. We are looking forward to seeing you guys at the Statue of Liberty. Be well and calm sea wishes for you two.
Yes, it can happen quickly! I try to look at trends and read the surface analysis charts. And merge that with the various apps and get a feel for it. Can't always get it right, but neither do the Weathermen 😅
Hey there its great to see you back out for a 3rd round, alway love you videos and adventures. I am interested in how much fuel you hold, sorry to bother because you have probably already shared this info. Stay safe. Thanks for sharing !!

Great video! Thank you for the great information! Does anyone have a good recommendation for marine headsets? We need them for the locks, etc while traveling soon. Thanks!
Go to our website www.WhatYachtToDo.com then go to Resources. They are the first item to appear there. Best headsets ever! We used them for almost four years!

I think you made a mistake on the Title. Says Chesapeake to Cape May. Should probably be Cape May to Great Kills.
Thanks! Yes, we made a mistake. Thanks for telling us about it, we fixed it!
I know you're going to spend the summer in the Great Lakes, is there an Association to gather information for motor vessels?
On the hard, Ed
Hi Ed, Yes, we joined the Great Lakes Cruising Club. Lots of info and benefits on their site.
