I was told it’s supposed to “boost” or help get the muscles going. Doesn’t necessarily mean it will do it long term if for some reason the patient doesn’t “catch on”... so to speak.
But I don't know why in our country we don't have this kind of device. My dad has brain stem acute. So he is not able to swallow and aspirates. So i searched treatment. Unfortunately no hospital have this device.
